Join us as we enjoy a relaxing holiday in the village of Langenau, which makes the perfect base for this holiday. We can experience the stunning natural Alpine beauty of Bavaria, exploring perfectly-preserved towns along the beautiful ‘Romantic Road’, many of which have remained unchanged for centuries. You will surely be charmed as we explore this wonderful corner of Germany!
Day One - UK to Reims
We join our coach and cross to Calais, then continue to Reims for our overnight stay.
Day Two - Reims to Langenau
Travel across Belgium before crossing into Germany and arriving in Langenau. (B,D)
Days Three to Seven - Langenau
A chance to relax as we discover the surrounding area and of Bavaria throughout the week, with three included excursions and a number of optional trips to enjoy. (B,L,D)
Day Eight - Langenau to Belgium
Bid farewell to Bavaria as we make our way to Belgium for dinner and an overnight stay. (B,D)
Day Nine - Belgium to UK
We return to Calais, then make our onward journey home. (B)

Full Day: Rothenburg and the Romantic Road
We discover one of the prettiest towns on the famous Romantic Road today, as we make our way to picturesque Rothenburg. Stroll through the cobbled streets and admire the colourful buildings and bustling squares.
Half Day: Steiff Museum
Discover the world's largest collection of Steiff teddy bears at the Steiff Museum in Giengen. Find out how these charming bears are created, admire historical Steiff exhibits, and explore this fascinating museum.
Lake Constance and Alpine Road
Lake Constance is shared by three countries: Germany, Austria & Switzerland with 236 rivers and streams feeding into it. We visit the town of Lindau, the historical island linked to the mainland by a bridge.
Augsburg and Landsberg am Lech
Augsburg was first founded by Augustus in 15BC now home to a town hall built in 1620 in renaissance style and a bell tower. We offer an optional guided walking tour to ensure you don't miss a thing before continuing our journey to Landsberg am Lech, noted for the prison that incarcerated Adolf Hitler in 1924. It also had one of the largest camps for Jewish refugees after World War II.
Augsburg Guided Walking Tour
Augsburg, Bavaria's third-largest city, is filled with excellent sights, which we'll enjoy the opportunity to discover during our guided walking tour. See sights such as the Renaissance town halls, the Perlachturm (bell tower) dating from 989, and the 9th-century cathedral.
Full Day: Munich
The lively capital of Bavaria, located at the foot of the Alps, is a delight to explore. There’s so much to see and do in this incredible city - discover the historical old town, where you can visit the bustling Marienplatz square, or simply admire the city’s incredible architecture with a stroll along the Munich’s bustling streets.
Or, why not visit one of Munich’s famous Bierkellers, or try some of Bavaria’s traditional cuisine from one of the many cafes or street vendors. Bavaria is well-known for its delicious dishes, with popular options including sausage, meats and cheese.
Half Day: Blaubeuren And Ulm
We call at the quaint town of Blaubeuren, which has one of the best preserved medieval town centres in the south western region of Germany. We go on to historic Ulm, famous for its Munster, a gothic cathedral with one of the world’s tallest spires.
Lindau Guided Walking Tour
Join us for a fantastic opportunity to explore Lindau, a charming town in Bavaria, situated in a wonderful position. Located on an island on Lake Constance, Lindau offers amazing scenery and is a delight to explore.
