See the amazing Andre Rieu live in concert in his home town, Maastricht. Sure to be a moving concert, be wowed by Andre Rieu and his famous Johann Strauss Orchestra, as well as spending time exploring the charming town of Aachen. We’ll travel by overnight PandO ferry, and will stay in Aachen for two nights.
Travelling by overnight ferry, we’ll enjoy more time to explore during our short break, so we can take our time to discover the many delights of our destination. Our holiday will begin with our overnight crossing, travelling on-board a PandO ferry from Hull to Zeebrugge. Enjoy the on-board facilities, including the restaurant, bar, lounge with live music and dancing, and the many shops.
In the morning, we’ll arrive in Zeebrugge and will then travel onwards to Liege city centre, where we’ll get to spend some time exploring this wonderful city. With its many historical attractions, there’s plenty to take in here, such as the 16th-century palace of the Prince-Bishops of Liege, the Renaissance Church of Saint-James, and the Liege Cathedral.
After our time in Liege, we’ll travel to Aachen, where we’ll check-in to the comfortable Hotel Buschhausen.
On Saturday evening we travel to Maastricht, Andre Rieu’s hometown. Here, we’ll enjoy our holiday’s main event - Andre Rieu live in concert! Accompanied by his Johann Strauss Orchestra, we’ll get to experience the famous violinist’s wonderful mixture of classical and waltz music, which is sure to make for an amazing evening’s entertainment.
As we make our way back to Zeebrugge for our return journey home, we’ll pay a visit to the medieval city of Bruges, with time to explore.
Please note: We advise that a smaller overnight bag is taken on the overnight crossing with PandO Ferries. Any larger suitcases can be left in the hold on the coach, but cannot be accessed during the sailing.
Day One: Hull to Zeebrugge
On day one of our holiday, we’ll travel overnight from Hull to Zeebrugge on-board our superb P&O North Sea Ferry, staying in comfortable cabin accommodation.
Day Two: Zeebrugge to Aachen
In the morning, we’ll transfer from Zeebrugge to the city of Liege and then on to Aachen, where we’ll stay at the Hotel Buschhausen.
Day Three: Aachen
Today can be spent at leisure in Aachen, or why not join our optional excursion to La Roche en Ardenne? Later we’ll visit Maastricht, to see Andre Rieu perform live in his home town.
Day Four: Aachen to Zeebrugge
Time to make our way back to Zeebrugge via charming Bruges to board our P&O ferry back to the UK, travelling overnight.
Day Five: Zeebrugge to Hull
We’ll arrive back in Hull on our fifth day, and will then journey home.

Enjoy the exquisitely preserved medieval city of Bruges during this excursion. Charming Bruges is known for its winding cobbled streets, pretty gabled houses and attractive tree-lined canals, each crossed by a humpback bridge. Explore the city at leisure, enjoying its architecture and historical details.
En Route: Liege
Discover the Belgian city of Liege, set on the River Meuse, with an en route visit today. Enjoy time to see the beautiful Prince-Bishops’ Palace and admire the city’s splendid churches and cathedrals.
Andre Rieu Concert
We’ll enjoy an incredible Andre Rieu concert during our holiday. Andre Rieu is one of the most well-known classical artists today, and his stage presence is sure to astound. With his extravagant and charismatic personality shining through, we’ll be entertained throughout the evening with his famous waltzes and unique music, with accompaniment from the magnificent Johann Strauss Orchestra.
Half Day: La Roche en Ardenne
Join us as we explore the historical town of La Roche en Ardenne, located on the River Ourthe and famous for the ruins of its medieval castle. As well as this, La Roche en Ardenne enjoys stunning scenery - admire its pretty views and charming town centre during our time here.
