Let us take you through some of Europe’s most magnificent mountain scenery, from southern Bavaria to the Swiss Alps, enjoying the alpine lakes of Italy and Austria along the way. Relax on board and savour the serene natural beauty of this region.
Day One – UK to Germany
We’ll join our coach and make our way from the UK to Germany, via Calais, enjoying dinner en route before our overnight stay. (D)
Day Two – Germany to Kufstein
In the morning, we’ll continue our journey down through Germany to reach Kufstein in Austria, across the border from Bavaria, where we’ll stay for two nights at the Hotel Andreas Hofer (or similar). Located close to the pedestrian zone, you can enjoy an evening stroll in the town. (B,D)
Day Three – Southern Bavaria
Today we venture into Bavaria, calling at the charming town of Oberammergau, before going on to visit awesome Neuschwanstein Castle, in an idyllic setting overlooking the alps. (B,D)
Day Four – Kufstein to Ebensee
We travel eastwards, taking a short scenic train trip down to reach Lake Chiemsee. We continue on into Austria and the beautiful Salzkammergut region, where we stay for two nights. (B,D)
Day Five – Austrian Lakes
Explore the beautiful Austrian Lake District today as we enjoy a scenic leisurely tour, seeing Lake Fuschl and Lake Mondsee. We also enjoy a lake cruise from St Gilgen to St Wolfgang. (B,D)
Day Six – Ebensee to St Anton
Continuing westwards through the heart of Austria, we call at the wonderful city of Innsbruck, surrounded my mountain landscapes. After time to explore, we continue to the Hotel Kertess (or similar) for an overnight stay. (B,D)
Day Seven – St Anton to Garda
Crossing into Italy, we’ll visit the pretty town of Bolzano, at the heart of the Italian Alps, before going on to reach Garda for our two night stay. (B,D)
Day Eight – Lake Garda
A wonderful day exploring the shores of Lake Garda lies ahead, as we journey around the north of this beautiful lake, calling at popular Riva del Garda. You’ll jhave chance to join an optional lake cruise, from Riva to Limone. (B,D)
Day Nine – Lake Garda to Lake Como
Departing Garda, we head to our next Lake and the bustling town of Como, where you’ll have some free time to relax this afternoon or join our optional trip to Bellagio. We’ll stay at the Hotel Como (or similar) this evening. (B,D)
Day Ten – Lake Como to Lucerne
Our next country awaits as we cross into Switzerland and pass pretty Lake Lugano, before continuing up through the superb scenery to reach Lucerne. After time to explore, we continue to the Hotel Paxmontana in Flueli for two nights. (B,D)
Day Eleven – Flueli
Relax in our peaceful resort today, or you may choose to venture into Lucerne or join an optional excursion to see more of Switzerland. (B,D)
Day Twelve – Flueli to France
Time to say goodbye to Switzerland today, as we head northwards to our final overnight hotel in France. (B,D)
Day Thirteen - France to UK
We’ll return to the UK today, travelling via Calais and then continuing home. (B)
Hotel Andreas Hofer
Kufstein is a busy little town, just over the border from Bavaria, known as 'the Pearl of the Tyrol'. The Andreas Hofer is a comfortable and modern family-run hotel in the town centre.

En route: Bolzano
Set amidst hilly vineyards, the charming city of Bolzano is the gateway to the Italian Dolomites and has lots to see, including the medieval centre and the majestic cathedral.
Be sure to take in some of the town’s great sights too, such as the statue of Walther von der Vogelweide on Walther Square, the South Tyrol Museum of Archaeology, the gothic Bolzano Cathedral and the Bolzano Victory Monument.
En route: Innsbruck
We call at the beautiful city of Innsbruck, the capital of the Tyrol region and surrounded by mountains. Enjoy a stroll along the main streets and see the famous Golden Roof building.
En route: Lake Chiemsee
We enjoy a short train trip from Prien to reach Lake Chiemsee, the largest lake in Bavaria, and then continue across into Austria to reach our hotel.
En route: Lucerne
At the heart of beautiful Switzerland, we call at the charming city of Lucerne, set on Lake Lucerne and surrounded by snow-capped peaks. Be sure to visit the colourful Old Town and walk across the famous wooden Chapel Bridge.
Full Day: Austrian Lakes and Lake Wolfgang cruise
Take in the serene scenery today of Austria’s beautiful Salzkammergut region. Sit back and relax as we enjoy a scenic drive through through the lakeland area, seeing Lake Fuschl and Lake Mondsee.
Join our included excursion to enjoy the scenery from the water, as our cruise goes from St Gilgen doen to St Wolfgang. This really is a stunning part of Austria for you to relax and enjoy.
Full Day: North Lake Garda
Today we enjoy a full day excursion, enjoying the wonderful scenery around the northern shores of popular Lake Garda. We’ll also call at the popular town of Riva del Garda, where you can enjoy a pleasant stroll along the pretty, winding streets and visit the historic town centre.
Full day: Southern Bavaria And Neuschwanstein
Today we cross into southern Bavaria, enjoying the surrounding alpine scenery, calling at the pretty town of Oberammergau, famous for its colourful frescoed buildings and the Passion Play held here once every ten years. We’ll also visit awesome Neuschwanstein Castle, built by the shy King Ludwig as a personal retreat, but now one of Europe’s most visited attractions.
Brienz, Interlaken And Thun
Today we visit the pretty town of Brienz, famous for its wood carving heritage, before going on to call at the bustling town of Interlaken and charming Thun.
Riva to Limone boat trip
Why not join our optional trip and take to the water, for opportunity to take in the serene surrounding views, as we travel from the bustling town of Riva across to pretty Limome.
