Day One - Depart UK
In the morning of day one, we’ll make the journey from the UK to Lloret de Mar, which will see us travelling via Calais. From there, we’ll travel through the night on our overnight express coach to arrive at the H-Top Palm Beach hotel in Lloret de Mar.
Day Two - Arrive in Lloret de Mar
We arrive in Lloret de Mar late morning and have time to settle into our hotel for our first night in-resort. (D)
Days Three to Seven - Lloret de Mar
We'll spend another five days in wonderful Lloret de Mar, enjoying two included excursions during our time there and making the most of our days relaxing in the sunshine. (B,L,D)
Day Eight - Depart Lloret de Mar
As our holiday draws to a close, we’ll say goodbye to Lloret de Mar and will travel to Calais. (B,L)
H-TOP Palm Beach, Lloret de Mar
Lloret de Mar has for many years drawn in tourists from across the continent. It's easy to see why, the huge sandy beach at the heart of the town is one of the most popular on the Costa Brava and regularly wins awards for its cleanliness.
H TOP Palm Beach and Spa is a great choice to spend time in Lloret de Mar. The hotel is equipped with a swimming pool, sauna and Jacuzzi and is centrally located in the town, just 10 minutes away from the beach at Fenals, so whether you want to relax around the hotel, or get out and enjoy the town, the choice is yours!
Full Day: Barcelona
Barcelona is the fourth most visited in city in Europe and is a lively and exciting place to discover. Especially remarkable is the work of architect Antoni Gaudí, which can be seen throughout the city. His best-known work is the unfinished church of the Sagrada Família, which has been under construction since 1882.
Half Day: Local Market
We take a trip down the Costa Brava to the town of Blanes. The local markets here are full of vibrancy and charm with a huge number of different stalls selling a wide range of produce. The fruit and vegetable markets are where farmers come from across Catalonia in order to sell their produce, the most popular crops in the region are apples, pears and peaches. There is also a fresh fish market near the harbour and an indoor market which sells a variety of souvenirs and trinkets. If you're not interested in retail therapy, the town has a charming marina and makes for a lovely place to stroll around and enjoy the atmosphere.
Barcelona Guided City Tour
Discover some of Barcelona’s very best attractions and landmarks during our exciting sightseeing tour, so you can see more of this incredible city. The tour will give us insights into the Catalonian capital’s interesting history. Admire the city’s famous sights, from Gaudi’s incredible architecture to the city’s bustling shopping districts and historical attractions.
Barcelona Fountains By Night
One of Barcelona’s main attractions is the Magic Fountain of Montjuic. This fantastic fountain can be found in the Montjuic neighbourhood and is located below the elegant steps up to the Palau Nacional on Montjuic hill.
In the evenings, this fountain is transformed into a magnificent light and water show, with music to accompany this spectacular performance.

Girona is one of Catalonia’s major cities, and our trip here will be spent at leisure, so we can discover this excellent location to our hearts’ content. With lots of sights to enjoy, we’re sure to be kept busy during our visit!
There are the ancient city walls and towers, which mark the entrance to Girona’s Old Town, plus Girona Cathedral, dating from 1015. This cathedral is home to the world’s widest Gothic nave, although it isn’t the only prominent religious building in Girona - there’s also the Sant Pere de Galligants church, and the Collegiate Church of Sant Feliu.
Half Day: Besalu
Enjoy an exciting excursion to explore the nearby town of Besalu, a historical national property since 1966. Here, we’ll find amazing medieval cobbled streets and facades, as well as the well-known 12th-century Romanesque bridge over the Fluvia River.
