    About Guernsey

    Officially the Bailiwick of Guernsey, this little island is located off the coast of Normandy, and is a world unto itself in terms of culture and atmosphere. With a history dating back to Neolithic times, there’s plenty to delve into when visiting Guernsey, much of which can be discovered at its fascinating museums. 

    The island is perhaps most famous for Victor Hugo, the French poet, novelist, and playwright who penned Les Miserables while in exile on Guernsey.
