Classic Cities of Italy

With a rich and long history, it’s no surprise that Italy has more UNESCO sites than any other country. We will visit four cities deemed significant enough to obtain a listing over our two week trip. Venice is an architectural masterpiece and exudes the beauty of its Renaissance peak. Verona, shared in those peak times, but also contains great examples of monuments from antiquity to be marveled at. Florence, a symbol of the Renaissance, across the city you can see architectural and artistic examples of the works of great masters such as Botticelli and Michelangelo. Finally, Rome, the Eternal City, existing, influencing and ruling for almost 3000 years, history is literally around every corner here.
