Holiday Details

Monday: UK to Luxor
Fly to Luxor then transfer to the Viking Princess.
Tuesday: Luxor - West Bank - Edfu
Early morning start crossing to the West Bank to visit The Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut’s Temple, the Valley of the Queens and Colossi of Memnon. Buffet lunch on board as we sail for Esna, passing through the Esna lock. Informal cocktail party after dinner, then dock overnight in Edfu.
Wednesday: Edfu to Aswan
Visit the Temple of Edfu then roam the local market to prepare for tonight’s Galabeya Party. On board, enjoy lunch, a dip in the plunge pool, a book or just the views as we sail to Aswan. Galabeya party this evening with dressing up in traditional Egyptian costumes. We dock in Aswan late for a two-night stay.
Thursday: Aswan
Morning visit to the High Dam, Old Granite Quarries, Unfinished Obelisk, then the Temple of Philae. Later sail around Kitchener’s Island and its Botanical Gardens by felucca.
Friday: Abu Simbel to Kom Ombo
Spend today at leisure or on optional excursions. Most popular is the Temple of Abu Simbel, by coach or air. Later you could visit a Nubian Village via camel or boat. Then we sail to Kom Ombo with a visit to a Ptolemic Temple. Evening entertainment on board.
Saturday: Kom Ombo to Luxor
The day is at leisure, arriving in Luxor late. After dinner, enjoy a traditional belly dancing show.
Sunday: Luxor
Take an optional Hot Air Balloon trip for a bird’s eye view of the magnificent wonders of the West Bank and countryside. Afterwards, visit the Temple of Karnak, the papyrus museum and traditional perfume shops of Luxor. In the afternoon, visit the Temple of Luxor then search the markets for souvenirs. Optional excursion to the Sound and Light Show at Karnak Temple for the final evening.
Monday: Disembark in Luxor
The morning is at leisure or take the optional Hot Air Balloon flight. In the afternoon, disembark and transfer to the 4* Three Corners Ocean View for your extended 7 night B&B stay.
Tuesday to Sunday: El Gouna
Enjoy the wide range of facilities at the luxurious Three Corners Ocean View and explore El Gouna.
Monday: El Gouna to UK
It's time to bid farewell to Egypt with fond memories as you transfer to the airport for your flight home.
