Our most luxurious room option, most of our Premier Rooms come with a four poster bed as well as a spacious refitted bathroom that accommodates both bath and a separate shower. These bedrooms will normally offer extras such as comfortable seating area, a 32 inch digital flat screen television, hair dryer as well as a hospitality tray.
Our Superior Rooms are more spacious and tastefully refurbished, they offer luxurious beds, a 26 inch digital flat screen television. The spacious bathrooms have been refitted with shower over bath. These rooms also come with the facilities to make yourself a hot drink.
Our Standard Rooms are charming and have everything you would expect. The rooms have digital televisions, tea and coffee making facilities as well as an en-suite bathroom.

Shearings always offer good value for money and this holiday was no exception . The included excursion was very good even though the weather was pretty atrocious. Our driver Steve was excellent , both well informed and very entertaining. The staff were super helpful and polite and the food was tasty and varied. What let this holiday down was the room allocated. When we saw it we asked if an upgrade was available but were told there were none. This was very disappointing.

Coach Holiday with Shearings I must say that my Husband and I was very pleased with this hotel. We did upgrade to room 110 and was well pleased, would definitely do this again. The room was monitored daily by the maid and kept tidy. The food was good with plenty of choices. Always served hot. Waiters and Waitresses were kept really busy, and did a good job. Barrie our driver was excellent. Good location. What more can I say but thank you for looking after us.

I and my partner lady jean have just booked a short break at the marine hotel Llandudno we have read the reviews some good some not but having been with Shearings / Bay Hotels on many occasions we hope we get the same service we have experienced in the past.

This is not the first time I have felt the need to give the Marine a good review. My Wife and I just love visiting Llandudno, and even though we live in Wales (Machynlleth) the lovely seaside town is just too far to travel for a day trip. So we always stay at either the Marine or its Shearings sister Hotel, the County. This time we stayed at the Marine for a weekend in November 2012 As usual we telephoned in to request a particular restaurant table and the room we always stay in, and these were waiting for us on arrival. The food was as usual very good. My Wife has coeliac disease which means all her food must be Gluten free. We request this on the booking form and so she was well catered for, no problem. The Staff Team as usual were efficient, friendly and helpful. I must give a special mention to reception lady Delia who looked after us particularly well. The Marine is superbly situated right on the promenade, and very near to the excellent shopping facilities there are in Llandudno. My honest opinion is that for what one pays for a weekend or whatever, there is no better value than the Marine for staying in Llandudno, as our experience has shown my Wife and I over many years.

We are regulars at this hotel. We do self drive. Request a room that we have been satisfied with usually successful if early with booking. It is in an ideal location. Staff good and reception excellent (they all know us) food is good and ample - they have had to cut corners i.e. no free shampoo/biscuits etc but this is acceptable these days. But well done in keeping the excellent value - we will keep coming.

We have just returned for a self drive weekend break at the Bay Marin. We booked this holiday a few weeks ago, and then checked out the reviews, to our dismay they suggested that this was the hotel from hell. Well, we found the hotel pleasant and comfortable, the staff were attentive, helpful and very friendly. The room (302) was a good standard with comfortable beds and a newly refurbished bathroom which was done very tastefully. The food and restaurant were of a good quality with plenty of choice. Our young Spanish waiter was very efficient and friendly. We would not hesitate in recommending this hotel to anybody who is looking for a friendly, value for money Hotel in a good central location.

Just returned after 4 days at marine and must say that the food was very good. The staff are very friendly and helpful, we had a Hungarian girl called Susanna look after us and she was brilliant. I was not impressed with the room, but hey, you get value for money...

Another enjoyable holiday with Shearings from start to finish. Hotel and staff were very helpful and friendly, nothing too much trouble. The food was adequate and well presented with a good choice. The entertainment was excellent throughout also the trips out. This was the first time my wife had to use a wheelie walker which was no problem and I would like to thank our driver Eric who the moment we stopped the walker appeared It made the holiday very enjoyable Thank you Shearings.

Having just returned from the marine hotel we had a great time! Hotel was a bit dated but warm and comfortable plenty of newspapers to read and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was adequate and the entertainment was great and the bar was even better we will be returning again thank you Anne +Eric.

My Wife and I stay at the Marine Hotel around 3/4 times a year. Why? We stay here mainly because of the lovely friendly staff right from when one arrives at reception right through to the very nice restaurant team serving the excellent variety and quality of food we always have. We do have our 'moans' though. Little Free view TV, no Wi-Fi and no Real Ale. How about some decent bottled bitter then Mr. Manager? Spitfire? Ruddles? We are already booked for 1st July 2011 week end. That says it all!

Just returned from another very enjoyable and comfortable weekend self-drive, last time I said the only gripe was expensive drinks. Well, this time, the hotel put on a totally free bar on the Saturday night! Excellent idea! We have been previously when a very nice Sunday lunch was included without cost as well. Nice little surprises which went down very well. Thanks Shearings, we’ll be back!

Have just returned from Marine with Shearings. Very enjoyable, food not as good as last year at the Beresford Newquay, but adequate. Entertainment was brilliant as was the weather. The only complaint we have is the room, very antiquated no arm chair and a dreadful view of the back of people’s houses, also the bathroom or rather the wash room, which measured 7'6inx2'6in. You could sit on the toilet and wash at the same time not good at all. We made do and for what we paid I suppose it was ok.

Because of bad weather, we couldn't get to the hotel we booked in Whitby and were offered the Marine Hotel in Llandudno instead. How lucky for us! The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food delicious. The entertainment was very enjoyable. Altogether a fantastic weekend.
