Holiday Details

Saturday: UK to Boston
Fly direct from your chosen airport to Boston. On arrival you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Familiarise yourself with your surroundings, as the remainder of the day is at leisure.
Sunday: Boston - Plymouth - Cape Cod
Start the day on foot as you walk the famous freedom trail around Boston, then it's free time to visit the shops or the famous Quincy Market. This afternoon we head south to Plymouth, the arrival point of the Pilgrims to the New World. We continue on our journey to Cape Cod. (B)
Monday: Martha's Vineyard
Enjoy a day at leisure in Cape Cod or join the optional excursion to Martha's Vineyard, the famous island off the shore of New England. (B)
Tuesday: Cape Cod - Newport - Connecticut River Valley
Today starts with a visit to the smallest state in the union, Rhode Island - former playground to the Astors and the Vanderbilts along with all the other rich and famous families of the 19th century. There is a chance to visit one of the opulent cottages to catch a glimpse of the lavish lifestyle. We then continue to Connecticut River Valley. (B)
Wednesday: Connecticut River Valley - Berkshires - Green Mountains
Continue to Berkshires one of Massachusetts' most picturesque regions. We then travel north to discover small villages in southern Vermont where you will have the opportunity to try some of the local cheese. (B)
Thursday: Green Mountains - Burlington - Stowe White Mountains
Small villages complete with white church steeples and covered bridges dot the landscape today. This is New England as you imagined it. We make our way to Stowe, a classic 200-year old mountain resort village. We end our day in the stunning surroundings of the White Mountains. (B)
Friday: White Mountains to Portland
We stop at Franconia Notch State Park, home to the Flume George where we ascend onboard the aerial tram to the 4,180 ft summit. We continue through the White Mountains to reach the Western Lakes region and onto Portland. (B)
Saturday: Portland to Boston
Our first stop is in Kennebunkport, then onto Portsmouth, known for its fishing community and historical buildings. We stop for a traditional New England Clambake lunch, before our next stop at Cape Neddick’s Lighthouse. Our final call is at Salem, famous for its witches. We arrive back into Boston late afternoon where the tour ends. Final night’s stay in this Colonial City. (B,L)
Sunday: Boston to UK
Free time today, before transferring to the airport for your return flight. (B)
Monday: Arrive UK
Arrive back in the UK early this morning.
