Fantastic Holiday

The hotel is lovely, spotlessly clean with very friendly staff who are happy to help. The bed was comfy & the shower was excellent. The food was good with plenty of choice every day. The excursions were great & our coach driver Gary was fab! This was our first coach holiday but it certainly won't be our last. My only minor criticism was that our case went missing on the way home- it didn't get transferred over to the feeder coach at Gretna- but we got it back safe & sound the next day.

This was our first coach holiday, and what a holiday. The journey up to Strathpeffer whilst a long one. Passed in no time at all. Our driver Tony was friendly and entertaining and looked after us all. The room we had was lovely, with nice views over Strathpeffer. Nice comfy bed. Food was good. Staff at hotel were helpful and polite. Nothing was too much trouble. All in all would recommend this trip, my first Shearings holiday, and already looking for next one.

Great Holiday

We enjoyed our holiday at Strathpeffer with Shearings, hotel was clean, staff friendly, lift was a bit slow and could only fit 4 in at a squeeze, and Food was ok on most days. Fantastic scenery on our coach tours well worth a visit, Gary & Tony our coach drivers were fab with all their knowledge, only think I can fault is that some people on the coach were quite rude when the coach drivers were talking, they would not shut up which was annoying when you were trying to listen about the history etc.

A Lovely Break

Just got back from a 5 day break in Strathpeffer. We had stayed there a few years ago. And we were not disappointed. The food was excellent as was the cleanliness of the Hotel. The staff went out of their way to cater for my special needs. (Thank You). The entertainment was good, despite there only being a few people they tried their best to create a happy atmosphere. The waiting on staff were friendly and efficient. Well what can I say about the drivers Gary and Wayne? They were very entertaining with their stories, and very knowledgeable about the area, pointing out all the places of interest. We will be coming back.

Excellent Break

Just come back from five days at the Highland hotel. Well worth the money, excellent polite staff. Lovely large clean bedroom. Excellent choice of food served with a smile from our waiter Avis. Tony the coach driver kept us entertained throughout, also his knowledge of the places we went to made it more interesting. I would definitely recommend the Highland Hotel.

Great service

Many thanks to all the staff at the Highland Hotel for again making us so welcome for the annual Strathpeffer Bridge Congress. Such a nice hotel, always top service from very friendly staff, who have certainly contributed to the reputation of the congress as one of the friendliest and most enjoyable events on the bridge calendar. We're already looking forward to the 20th congress next year!

Well Organised Holiday

At last we have found time to write a comment on our holiday to Strathpeffer. This was in September last year. We found the food and service very good with a choice of courses to choose from. We also noticed the restaurant manager and hotel manager were always present somewhere and you could have a chat with them. Our bedroom had been refurbished and was clean. A very good holiday. And a top class driver to top it .excellent value.

Well Organised Hotel

This was our first trip to the Highlands we found the Hotel organisation was excellent, staff very friendly, evening entertainment was great. There was no slacking from the staff in the dining room terrific service. Really enjoyed our stay. The only down side was the bathrooms were in dire need of renovation with showers installed ?

Fab Holiday

I have just returned from spending a week at this holiday with my dad and family, the hotel was lovely except the bathrooms are in need of an upgrade, the staff were excellent as was the food the entertainment was very good and the tours were brilliant which was made all the more interesting because of the coach/courier Colin Jones who knew so much about the places we visited, also he had a lovely friendly manner which put everyone at ease I would recommend this holiday to anyone.
