About Waverly Castle Hotel

At the heart of the Scottish Borders, nestling between the River Tweed and the green Eildon Hills, is the town of Melrose. It lies in the heart of Sir Walter Scot country and offers the visitor a wealth of interest with its beautiful abbey, teddy bear museum and walled garden of Priorwood. Essentially a place for holidays with the accent on outdoor country pursuits, the attractive town of Melrose is at the heart of an area of gentle hills, undulating valleys and Border Abbeys. The stately looking Waverley Castle Hotel is splendidly set in 5 acres of rolling parkland behind which flows the River Tweed. While away time in the comfortable lounges and bar, enjoy various games, stroll around the grounds and dance the nights away in the entertainment room.

Standard Room

Our Standard rooms are charming and have everything you expect in a modern hotel - private facilities, a TV, and everything you need to make yourself a hot beverage.

All Standard rooms include:

  • Ensuite bath or shower and WC
  • Colour TV
  • Tea and coffee-making facilities

Superior Room

Our superior rooms have luxurious beds, flat screen digital television, and a spacious en suite bathroom with shower/bath. These Superior rooms also have the facilities to make a hot beverage.

All Superior rooms include same features as a Standard room plus:

  • Digital Flat Screen TV
  • Spacious En Suite with Bath/Shower and WC

Premier Room

Our most luxurious room option. All Premier rooms have a four-poster beds and spacious en suite bathrooms that have been beautifully re-fitted to accommodate both bath and shower options. These large rooms also have a comfortable seating area, a 32" flat screen digital television, hairdryer and the facilities to make a hot beverage.

All Premier rooms include same features as a Superior room plus:

  • En Suite with separate shower and bath
  • Luxurious Four Poster Bed
  • 32" Flat Screen Digital Television
  • Large Rooms with Comfortable Seating Area
