Wow what a place

The staff are great, friendly and helpful. The public area and rooms were always clean and tidy, and you couldn’t as for better food. The hotel was situated in a good place with views over the Sea. The mountains in Ireland with the snow on them looked great. The drive down to the Mull was interesting as this was the only place where we could see our home the Isle of Man. It made a change looking the other way Scotland ~ IOM. Well done Port Patrick Hotel staff, we will be seeing you again soon.

5 Star Scottish Hospitality

Just spent the weekend at the Hotel, to celebrate my Dads 80th Birthday, with family and friends. From the moment I checked in, to checking out, the staff were first class and always a smile upon their face. The views from the rooms are truly breathtaking and would take some beating. The Food was a wonderful surprise, fresh, tasty, creative and well served throughout the stay and faultless, given that with such coaching named operating Hotels, the food can be less so. Scottish hospitality at its best!!

Fantastic

After a long drive we arrived to find a disabled spot next to the door after booking in we found our room was opposite the lift door as we had requested to have as little walking as possible the sea view and the view over the harbour were out of this world and I spent hours looking out of the window meals were served at the table by very conscientious staff and drinks could be brought to us as well. The entertainment was excellent on the two nights advertised.

Peace and Quiet

A lovely relaxing time. Staff were efficient and friendly, bedrooms and public areas clean and tidy at all times. I enjoyed all the meals and the booking system for evening meal worked well. Fantastic views of the harbour and village and with a lean to the right there was Northern Ireland to the right and the Isle of Man straight in front. A short downhill walk to the harbour. Midges were just making themselves apparent on the walk down the cliff path. I will be returning.

Peace and Quiet

If this is what you’re looking for, look no further, this is the place. Request sea-view room, and you will not be disappointed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay from start to finish. Room was well appointed, comfortable, clean, en suite excellent. All staff polite, courteous, and friendly. Restaurant, well organised, menu very good, something for everyone. We look forward to our next visit

A hotel with a view

All of the staff were friendly and helpful. This hotel has a most magnificent scenic view. A good centre for north and south Galloway coastal tours. The dining room was spacious and laid out with well separated tables. The breakfast menu offered an excellent selection of food. The dinner menu and food was 'average' - an additional menu selection was available at an extra charge. For those with mobility problems should check that their rooms are served by a lift. Recommended as a comfortable hotel.
