Travelling to the western coastal tip of Southern Scotland, will take you to Portpatrick, a pretty fishing village wrapped around a picturesque harbour on the coast of Galloway. Explore this enchanting corner of the country with us as we uncover stunning seascapes and hidden gems.

Included Excursions

Full day:: Venturing as far south as we can go in Scotland, we journey around the remote area of the Mull of Galloway, for a chance to take in the tranquil scenery. We continue to visit Logan Botanic Gardens, an exotic paradise set amid majestic scenery. Warmed by the Gulf Stream, the climate provides the ideal growing conditions for an amazing collection of southern hemisphere plants. A stroll to the highest point will reward visitors with breathtaking views over the Rhins to the Galloway Hills, whilst the Discovery Centre, gives visitors the chance to learn more about the garden and its history.

Full day:: Following the Ayrshire coast northwards, we head to the impressive Culzean Castle and Country Park, one of Scotland’s best loved castles. This 18th century masterpiece is almost a ‘castle in the air’, as it has an elevated position on a cliff high above the crashing waves of the Firth of Clyde. The Castle itself boasts a spectacular Oval Staircase, an impressive Armoury and Circular Saloon, and the extensive grounds encompass Scotland’s first country park where you can explore the deer park, swan pond and miles of woodland walks.
