Belated 25th Anniversary In Style

We booked this holiday in the 7 day sale as I had been in hospital for our 25th Wedding Anniversary. A bay inclusive deal for £99 each. So as you can imagine we had low expectations and decided to be willing to accept a lower standard, safe in the knowledge that we did have 4 free drinks everyday... WOW: 5 star welcome. Brilliant food. Lovely bedroom with heaps of hot water. Our coach driver, Graham a Glaswegian, always ensured a brilliant time was had whilst on excursions. Go on book it!!!

Excellent food and staff

Stayed here for 5 days, nothing was too much trouble for the Staff. Food good and varied. Entertainment excellent. The only gripe I have, had to pay £60 extra for a Single room and the room was terrible, very cold had to put a blanket up by the window and a towel at the bottom of the door, in fact the bedroom was like sleeping in a fridge. I wouldn't stay here again, until the Hotel changes its policy on single room supplement. Why pay extra to be given an inferior room, doesn't make sense.

Amazing value, food all round very good, good choice. Staff very friendly and helpful. Lounge and bars are very nice. Decor in rooms a little tired. We also had free drink vouchers for 8 drinks. We had great time. Steve.

Pleasant stay, friendly staff

Reception areas comfortable, bedroom and bathroom clean and comfortable. Our only complaint was the creaky floorboards in the corridor outside our room. There was no point trying to sleep until the bar closed and the remaining guests had trooped past our room and we certainly never needed an alarm call in the morning.

Excellent Stay 4 Star

Broke our journey home from Fort William and found the Tarbet Hotel first class and a breath of fresh air from the Caledonian Hotel which we would not return too. We have been to the Tarbet Hotel on many occasions and on this visit found the refurbishment excellent. The hotel was fresh and clean and the food first class. All the staff was pleasant and helpful .The entertainment was far. Would recommend the Tarbet Hotel.

Best Value for Money / Greatest Staff

This has to be the best value for money available. The views from the loch View rooms are worth the bit extra. Rooms always very clean, food always excellent and the staff are the most welcoming and hard working you will find! The asst. manager Gary is an angel, nothing is ever too much trouble and Davie always cheers up my morning. There are too many hard working staff to mention. Our thanks to you all!!!! xxx

Just to say thanks to all at the Tarbet Hotel for a memorable stay. With a long history, the Hotel has bags of character, rooms were warm and well equipped, food was good. And incredible value! Best of all was the wonderful staff that couldn't do enough to make us happy. As a party of 14 people you made our stay memorable. Thanks to Gary, the manager, and all his staff.

Short Break

What a stay we had it was great. myself; wife; sister and her husband stayed here for 3 nights Friday 9th December the food was fantastic rooms were clean as was all other guest areas I can’t praise the hotels staff for their total commitment to everyone, even though the hotel was having a lot of work done when we were there. Well done to all of the staff as I was a bit weary after reading some bad reviews on trip adviser. Will stay again.

A Little Put Out With Bar

Surely you could have told your guests about bar being closed. The upgrade caused problems for your first class manager and his team' who handled the flack 'and worked hard to keep everyone happy. That’s my moan ' nice clean and comfy bedroom' food was very good. The hotel is in a beautiful location. 3 stars when it should have been 5. Still fantastic value for money.

Tarbet Hotel - Loch Lomond

The 5 day Monday to Friday holiday was brilliant for the money we paid. The hotel catered extremely well for a client with a gluten-free diet. Although the bar area was being re-furbished, the staff catered well by using the dining room as the entertainment area too. Praise to the Manager for doing such a good job.

Good Weekend

We stayed at the Tarbet Hotel 23rd September 2011 for 2 nights. The staff, food & entertainment were great. Rooms were very clean the only down side is the room decor that seems to be in the 1970's. There was no shower in the bathroom which was a bit of a problem. I would certainly stay again and maybe upgrade the room.
