The scenic Highland town of Pitlochry, right at the heart of Scotland, offers a warm welcome, crisp air and rich heritage. This beautiful retreat, set in spectacular scenery, is an ideal location from which we can go exploring, so join us on a memorable Highland adventure!

Included Excursions

En route:: Excursion to the unique Falkirk Wheel, a design wonder, where we enjoy a fabulous journey on the world’s first and only rotating boat lift, as our boat is gracefully lifted to join the Union Canal.

Full day:: A sightseeing spectacular is in store as we visit the popular resort of Aviemore, before enjoying a nostalgic trip on the Strathspey Steam Railway, with the Cairngorm Mountains as our backdrop.

Half day:: Today we visit beautiful Blair Castle, at the heart of Highland Perthshire, and the ancient seat of the Dukes and Earls of Atholl, before continuing to enjoy the stunning scenery from Queen’s View, one of Scotland’s most famous vistas.

Holiday Details

Day 1:
We travel to Northern England to our carefully selected overnight hotel.

Days 2 to 6:
We continue our journey north up to the Pitlochry Hydro Hotel, which will be our base for the next five nights.

Days 7 to 8:
We head home, staying overnight in a carefully chosen hotel on the way.
