Welcome aboard

We are proud to present the MPS Da Vinci - new and exclusive to Shearings Holidays for 2011.  Designed along the lines of a splendid yacht, the MPS Da Vinci is one of the most elegant and luxurious river cruise vessels in Western Europe.  Whether sailing upon the Rhine, Main or Danube, the MPS Da Vinci is ready and waiting to take you on your next river cruise experience.

Life on board

Once you're onboard the MPS Da Vinci you can't fail to be impressed with the open space and large reception area.  Why not head to the sun deck to wach the ever-changing scenery go by, with a choice of chairs or deckchairs for your comfort.  If you're feeling a bit more energetic, how about a workout on the fitness equipment - or a relaxing sauna or Turkish bath?  You'll also find it easy to relax in the beautifully designed lounge, where you can immerse yourself in a good book from the library, with an inviting open fireplace to keep you warm.  And at the end of the day you can retire to your cabin, with satellite TV to entertain you and a delightful river view right outside your window, allowing you to watch the world go by in complete comfort.

Cabins

When you’re on holiday it’s nice to have those creature comforts, so we’re delighted to showcase our selection of cabins offering satelite TV (when in port), centrally regulated air conditioning and heating. All cabins are fitted with private bathroom facilities, including a shower and toilet, as well as a mini safe.

Food and drink

You'll be dining in style on board the MPS Da Vinci, taking advantage of its comfortable and elegant restaurant.  Throughout your cruise you'll start the day with a hearty breakfast, enjoy a delicious lunch, and a wonderful dinner to tuck into every evening.  You'll also have the chance to dine with the captain on one evening, enjoying a very special dinner menu.

The ship's spacious bar provides the perfect surroundings in which you can relax and unwind after a day's sightseeing.  Treat yourself to a drink or two while discussing your experiences with your new-found friends - the perfect way to finish off the day.
