Sorrento is one of Italy’s most popular resorts and on this holiday in the Mediterranean sunshine you will discover exactly why! Experience the dramatic Amalfi Coast and the fascinating history of Pompeii & Mount Vesuvius from our All Inclusive base.
Day 1 Depart UK: Fly from your chosen regional airport to Naples and transfer to the 4* Grand Hotel Vesuvio in Sorrento
Days 2 to 7/14 Sorrento: At leisure in Sorrento, sit and watch the world go by from a pavement café in this enchanting town high above the bay of Naples. Enjoy some of the areas best attractions on our included excursions. Our local representative will be on hand to offer local knowledge and organise your choice of optional excursions.
Days 8/15 Depart Sorrento: Transfer from your hotel to the airport for your flight back to the UK.
Full day The Amalfi Drive: A once in a lifetime experience to drive along the world famous Amalfi coastline where colourful villas hug the dramatic cliffsides. Dramatic twists, turns and spectacular scenery awaits! Also included is a visit to the pretty town of Amalfi
Full day Pompeii & Mount Vesuvius: The eruption of Vesuvius in AD79 engulfed the city of Pompeii in a cloud of ash and lava, creating the finest monument and most complete record of everyday life in the Roman Empire to be found anywhere. A guided tour takes you to the mosaics, shops, villas and theatres before a visit to the mighty volcano itself. NB: Entrance fees for Pompeii & Vesuvius are not included, but discounts may apply.
Evening Tasso Theatre Show: Take the hotel shuttle bus to reach the centre of Sorrento for a short walk to the local theatre “Teatro Tasso” for a colourful evening of Neapolitan song & dance.

Fabulous Hotel Vesuvio

Went as a single travellor last year. Can't believe this holiday had no review! Fabulous hotel, food absolutely first class and ordered a glass of wine and got a bottle which could be taken to room if not finished. Beautiful swimming pool and excellent excursions. Had a wonderful time and met some lovely people.
