Giant's Causeway
Discover the legendary Giant’s Causeway, where 40,000 symmetrical columns rise dramatically from the sea! As the story goes, they were built by Irish Giant Finn McCool so his Scottish lover could walk across the sea to be with him.

The Cliffs of Moher
Designated a UNESCO Geo Park, the Cliffs of Moher are one of Ireland’s top visitor attractions. 214 metres high at the highest point, the cliffs range for 8 kilometres over the Atlantic Ocean in County Clare.

Belfastm Galway, Cork & Dublin
From vibrant Belfast, to Galway ‘the city of the Tribes’, to bustling Cork and cosmopolitan Dublin – the contrasting cities on both sides of the border are just waiting to be discovered.

Killarney
Renowned for the warmth of its Irish hospitality, the dramatic landscapes, mountain ranges and mystical lakes, Killarney is known as the ‘Jewel of Ireland’.

 

Holiday Details

Day 1: UK to Newcastle
Relax aboard your Grand Tourer coach as we cross to Dublin then travel northwards into Northern Ireland and on to Newcastle where we stay for two nights at the fabulous 4-star Slieve Donard Resort & Spa. (D)
Day 2: St Patrick Centre and Mourne Mountains
Today we follow the coast past the majestic peaks of the Mourne Mountains to Newry. On then to Downpatrick and the new interpretive exhibition at the St Patrick Centre. (B,D)
Day 3: Newcastle to Londonderry
The adventure continues as we first visit vibrant Belfast before heading north past the glens and coast of Antrim to Carnlough. The scenic Glenariff Forest Park is a joy to travel through on our way to Ballycastle, and the journey is rounded off in Londonderry, where we spend the next two nights at the centrally-located 4-star Tower Hotel. (B,D)
Day 4: Giant's Causeway
This morning we journey along the Causeway coast to reach the magnificent Giant’s Causeway and its visitor centre. Here 40,000 symmetrical columns rise dramatically from the sea. We then head back to the walled city of Londonderry, City of Culture in 2013, passing the dramatic coastal ruins of Dunluce Castle.(B,D)
Day 5: Londonderry to Galway
We enjoy more spectacular scenery as we travel southwards to Galway, on a leisurely journey through County Donegal, Sligo and Mayo. Here we’ll stay for two nights at the 4-star Oranmore Lodge Hotel, 7 kilometres from the city centre. (B,D)
Day 6: The Cliffs of Moher and Galway
Today we journey through the unique rocky landscapes of The Burren to reach the magnificent Cliffs of Moher. Here we will take in the stunning coastal scenery as well as visiting the interesting Atlantic Edge Exhibition. Then onto vibrant Galway for time to explore. (B,D)
Day 7: Galway to Killarney
Today we are off to Killarney, the ‘Jewel of Ireland’. First we fly back in time at the Foynes Flying Boat Museum, home to the original Irish Coffee. Then on to our hotel, the welcoming family-run 3-star Eviston House Hotel. Centrally located, it boasts the popular Danny Mann Lounge where you can enjoy great live entertainment nightly. (B,D)
Day 8: Killarney
Relax at leisure in Killarney or you may wish to join us on our optional excursion around the spectacular Ring of Kerry, or take a ride on one of the famous horse drawn ‘jaunting cars’. (B,D)
Day 9: Killarney to Wexford
There is a chance to kiss the Blarney Stone as we make a short stop here before travelling on to Cork. After free time to explore we continue on to Waterford where we enjoy another short break, arriving later this afternoon in Wexford. Here we stay for two nights at the welcoming 4-star Talbot Hotel. (B,D)
Day 10: Wexford
Today is your chance to explore this enchanting town at leisure. (B,D)
Day 11: Wexford to Dublin
Northwards to Dublin where there is time to explore at leisure before we make our way to our hotel, the 4-star Maldron Hotel, Cardiff Lane. (B,D)
Day 12: Dublin to home
We depart this morning and make our way home. (B)

Touring Itinerary by Air

Day 1: From home to Newcastle
Fly from your local airport to Belfast where you will be met and transferred to the fabulous 4-star Slieve Donard Resort & Spa, part of the Hastings Hotels chain. This evening our tour coach and driver, along with your fellow passengers will arrive at the hotel.
Days 2 - 11: As per by coach itinerary
Day 12: Dublin to home
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Dublin airport for the flight home.
