Holiday Details

From cosmopolitan Dublin, we journey southwards through County Waterford to Cork, taking dinner at a local inn overlooking the river, with two included drinks. Next we head across to Ireland’s most south westerly point, Mizen Head and the interesting Signal Station Visitor Centre, before continuing on to beautiful Glengarriff overlooking Bantry Bay.
We then travel through the rugged Killarney National Park with the highest mountain range in Ireland and the sparkling lakes of Killarney. At our hotel in the heart of Tralee, we enjoy an evening of traditional music and an Irish coffee demonstration.
We continue our journey northwards calling in at the picture-postcard village of Adare in County Limerick, then on to Bunratty Castle and Folk Park where 19th century life is vividly recreated. Our base tonight is Lahinch on the County Clare coast, a popular seaside resort.
A highlight of the tour today is the rugged scenery of the Cliffs of Moher, before heading back across the heart of Ireland to Dublin, where we enjoy a guided tour and tasting at the Old Jameson Distillery before our final overnight stay. Sadly after our wonderful taste of Ireland, it is now time to head for the ferry home.
