Holiday Details

Day 1: Home to Dublin
Our holiday begins as we join our coach to take the ferry to Dublin and on to the Maldron Hotel Tallaght, a great place to unwind after your journey today.
Day 2: Enniskillen and Lough Erne to Donegal
We continue our journey north west, calling at the pretty town of Enniskillen, set on a natural island separating the two sections of Lough Erne. We enjoy a cruise on the Lower Lough, before heading on to Donegal town and the Central Hotel for four nights, with entertainment on most evenings.
Day 3: Coastal journey to Killybegs, Slieve League and Glencolmcille
A delightful day in store as we embark on a scenic drive, taking in the wild scenery and county highlands. We call at the pretty fishing town of Killybegs and pass Slieve League, the highest marine cliffs in Europe, before visiting the interesting Glencolmcille Folk Village Museum, in a scenic spot overlooking the sandy curve of Glenbay beach.
Day 4: Glenveagh National Park
Today we venture into the Glenveagh National Park, at the heart of the Derryveagh Mountains in the north west of County Donegal. Enjoy the scenery of this beautiful wilderness with rugged mountains and pristine lakes, and visit the interesting Glenveagh Visitor Centre. On then to the town on Dungloe and the fascinating Daniel O'Donnell Visitor Centre.
Day 5: Time at leisure in Donegal
Enjoy your free day today to relax in the hotel and enjoy the leisure facilities, explore Donegal town or venture further afield. Our hotel is at the centre of town, so it is easy to explore – take a stroll around ‘The Diamond’ market square, enjoy the coastal views or maybe relax in a traditional local pub.
Day 6: Donegal to Dublin and the Guinness Storehouse
After a leisurely morning we head back across country to the city of Dublin, where we visit the popular Guinness Storehouse, for a fascinating insight into the history and heritage of Ireland’s famous tipple. You can also take in the views from the Gravity Bar overlooking the city, whilst you sample a glass of the ‘black stuff’. Tonight we stay at the Regency Hotel.
Day 7: Dublin to home
Unfortunately our holiday is drawing to a close as it is time to leave the Emerald Isle behind and begin our journey home.
