    We’ll stay at the fantastic Charlecote Pheasant Hotel, one of our Coast and Country properties. A charming country hotel ideally located just a short drive from Stratford-upon-Avon; we can look forward to delicious full cooked breakfasts and three-course evening meals during our stay. 

    Not only this, but we’ll also have some superb excursions to enjoy. We’ll make our way into Stratford-upon-Avon to explore this historic market town and home to many attractions relating to Shakespeare. 

    We'll visit medieval Warwick, home to many fascinating attractions - including Warwick Castle, which we’ll get the chance to visit. Admire the historic architecture in this city, much of which dates from the 15th and 17th centuries. 

    We’ll also journey through the picturesque countryside of the Cotswolds, giving us time to soak up the wonderful scenery of this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We’ll stop at Moreton-in-Marsh, Stow-on-the-Wold and Bourton-on-the-Water, three of the Cotswolds’ prettiest towns.

    We’ll take a trip into the Cotswolds, designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We’ll call at Moreton-in-Marsh, before continuing on to Stow-on-the-Wold with its picturesque square and pretty Bourton-on-the-Water.

    These charming Cotswolds towns enjoy idyllic settings amidst the rolling hills and are ideal for indulging in a spot of shopping. Pick up local souvenirs, admire the beautiful scenery on our drive and take in the peaceful surroundings.

    Stratford
    Half Day: Stratford-upon-Avon

    Visit to the riverside town of Stratford-upon-Avon, where you can explore the historic streets of this market town or you may choose to visit one of the many Shakespeare attractions. This town is famous for being Shakespeare’s hometown, and many landmarks relating to the playwright still exist here today. From his birthplace to Holy Trinity Church, where Shakespeare is buried, we’ll be able to walk in his footsteps to learn more about this fascinating literary figure.
