Today we visit the Lake District and the popular lakeside town of Bowness. Located between Waterhead and Lakeside on the shore of Lake Windermere, Bowness has a pleasant town centre and glorious setting, and is consequently one of the most visited towns in the Lake District. Enjoy time at leisure to admire the beautiful Victorian and Edwardian architecture, browse the local shops or relax and watch the boats sail by on the lake, the choice is yours!  We return back to the hotel in time for our 'Christmas Dinner' complete with a complimentary glass of wine.

Relax in Blackpool or join our optional excursion to Southport. From the pier and coastline to the bustling shops on Lord Street there is an air of Victorian elegance everywhere you turn. We return to the hotel for a festive cream tea.

Enjoy sweeping views across the Irish Sea – perfect for people watching and beautiful sunsets – and relax in comfortable surroundings.
