    En Route: Enniscorthy
    Discover the superb town of Enniscorthy with an en route visit, allowing us to explore the so-called ‘Island of Rocks’. This town is known for its fascinating history, dating back to 465 in the 5th century. Take in sights such as the castle in Enniscorthy and Saint Aidan's Cathedral, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Ferns.

    We’ll stop off at the excellent Newbridge Silverware Visitor Centre while en route. Located in Newbridge in County Kildare, this fantastic attraction houses a wide range of stunning silver jewellery, giftware, cutlery and homeware, and so is the ideal place to treat ourselves to something, or to buy a gift or two for someone special at home!

    Full Day: New Ross
    We make our way to New Ross today, where we’ll visit some of the town’s best attractions. First, we’ll step aboard the Dunbrody Famine Ship. This marvellous attraction is an excellent reproduction of an Irish emigrant vessel from the 1840s, revealing the famine emigrant experience. Take a tour of the ship and meet the costumed performers, who will tell us more about what emigrating on-board a similar ship would have been like during this time. 

    Next, we’ll travel to the Kennedy Homestead, where President John F. Kennedy’s great-grandfather was born. Learn all about Kennedy’s family, discovering five generations of the dynasty.

    Spend the day enjoying an excellent excursion to discover Wexford, County Wexford’s country town, and the Johnstown Castle Gardens. In Wexford, admire the town’s mix of architectural styles and go shopping, before we take the time to stroll through the beautiful gardens at the Victorian revival-style Johnstown Castle.
