We’ll begin with a trip to the famous Eden Project visitor attraction. Known for containing the largest jungle in captivity, and for its amazing collection of plants from all over the planet, the Eden Project will provide us with an incredible look at some of the world’s most exotic plants.

After this, we’ll make our way to the Lost Gardens of Heligan, found in Mevagissey. One of the UK’s most popular botanical gardens, the Lost Gardens date from the mid-18th century and contain a number of areas dedicated to different types of gardening.

As well as all of this, we’ll also have free time to explore St Mawes at leisure, so we can enjoy this charming town during our stay.

    Must See: St. Mawes Castle

Built by Henry VIII as part of a defensive chain of fortresses to protect the south coast of Cornwall, the castle is amongst one of the best preserved coastal artillery fortresses and is a charming, clover-leaf shaped building. Don't miss the chance to see the only Civil War cannonball ever found in St Mawes!

Eden Project – Green Fingers Festival, departures between 30th May & 20th June 2015

Enjoy a special insider tour taking us behind the scenes to learn more about how the world-class horticultural exhibits are managed. The horticultural team will also be on hand, sharing their expert knowledge on everything from composting to exotic and ornamental gardening!
