    Explore the famous city of Krakow, which was the royal capital for 500 years and is today a treasure trove of Gothic and Renaissance architecture. One of Poland’s oldest cities, as well as its second-largest, Krakow is known for its magnificent historical attractions, such as the splendid Wawel Castle, St Mary's Basilica, the Cloth Hall, and the main square.

    Half Day: Auschwitz Memorial Museum
    The Auschwitz concentration camp was the site on which the Nazi’s committed their terrible crimes against Jews and many other minorities within Nazi-occupied Europe. The museum provides a stark look at what occurred during the war, and is an important part of the country’s history.

    We’ll experience a guided tour of the camp, with full information relating to the museum and the history of the camp provided by an experienced tour guide.

    Krakow is famed for its marvellous historical monuments, which really allow the city to stand out. It was once the capital of Poland and dates from the Stone Age, and it still maintains its magical atmosphere. Legend has it that the city was founded when a man named Krakus built the beginnings of the city above a cave occupied by a dragon called Smok Wawelski. 

    We’ll take an exciting tour of the city to find out about its most famous landmarks, and to learn about its fascinating history.
    Wielicksa Salt Mine
    Wieliczka Salt Mine

    Located in southern Poland, the Wieliczka Salt Mine was built in the 13th century and produced table salt continuously until 2007, as one of the world's oldest salt mines still in operation. The mine's attractions include dozens of statues, three chapels and an entire cathedral that has been carved out of the rock salt by the miners.
