    We’ll get to make new friends and will spend our Christmas Day together, enjoying one another’s company and making the most of a delicious Christmas lunch with superb entertainment. On top of all of this, we’ll also get to visit Riva del Garda, the beautiful town that can be found on the north-western edge of Lake Garda, and we’ll visit the pretty town of Eugendorf in Austria.

    These two locations will see us perfectly placed for enjoying many nearby destinations and attractions during our included and optional excursions during this holiday. For instance, our included excursions will offer up chances to head in to Venice and Verona, where we’ll find a huge number of historical attractions and wonderful architecture.

    When it comes time to say goodbye to Riva del Garda as we travel onwards to Eugendorf, we’ll stop in Innsbruck for a short visit, where we’ll be able to explore this terrific city at leisure. Then, while we’re in Eugendorf, we’ll enjoy a full day excursion to Salzburg, where we’ll get to soak up the amazing atmosphere of this city.

    Innsbruck
    En Route: Innsbruck

    We’ll spend a few hours in Innsbruck during our holiday and so will be able to spend our time as we wish, whether this be by visiting some of the local attractions, enjoying a bite to eat in one of Innsbruck’s many restaurants and cafes, or wandering through the city on our own.

    Innsbruck is the capital of the state of Tyrol and is famous for its surrounding Alpine scenery. With towering mountains on all sides, this city is an amazing combination of scenery and attractions.

    Full Day: Salzburg

    The city of Salzburg makes for an excellent excursion, the city famous for being home to the Sound of Music. Enjoy the old town with its impressive fortress and cathedral, take time out to visit the house where Mozart was born or relax in the Mirabell Gardens.

    There are numerous architectural styles to be found in Salzburg, including Romanesque, gothic, renaissance, baroque and many more modern styles. We’ll be able to admire this architecture throughout our visit, as well as exploring the city itself to see its many attractions.

    Full Day: Venice
    Venice is one of the most historical cities in Italy, having a fascinating heritage which is matched with amazing architecture and an excellent atmosphere.

    With so many attractions to explore, we'll have plenty to take in, as we’ll be able to go shopping on Rialto Bridge and the Piazza San Marc, where some of the best shops are located. As well as this, there’s always the canals to take walks along, and attractions such as the Scuola Grande di San Rocco, Palazzo Ducale, St. Mary of the Friars church, and Saint Mark's Basilica to look forward to, as well as many other sights.

    Full Day: Verona

    Visit the beautiful town of Romeo and Juliet with its superb Roman Arena. Here you enjoy an optional guided walking tour.

    Lake Garda
    Half Day: Scenic Lake Tour

    Lake Garda is Italy’s largest lake and is known for its incredible views, which allow us to enjoy the amazing scenery in this location. Surrounded by mountains and with many picturesque towns and villages nestled on the lake’s shore, Lake Garda is a wonderful destination.

    We’ll take a scenic lake tour while we’re there, in order to make the most of our time there and to soak up the incredible vistas.

    Innsbruck Guided Walking Tour

    To learn more about Innsbruck, and to take in even more of the splendid sights, we’ll also be able to join an optional guided walking tour of the city. This will give us greater insight into Innsbruck’s history, and will allow us to tour more of the city.

    Salzburg
    Salzburg Guided Coach Tour

    Salzburg is known for its wonderful history and we’ll get to find out more about it during this intriguing guided coach tour, which will take us in and around the city to see its best sights. We’ll travel past some of the city’s most famous attractions and will get to learn all about its history.

    Venice Gondola Ride

    Experience Venice from its famous canals as we take an optional gondola ride. See the beautiful architecture, while travelling along these busy waterways and enjoying the pleasant atmosphere. Venice is well-known for its canals, which connect this floating city, and our optional excursion will give us a chance to admire one of Italy’s most beautiful cities from a different perspective.

    Verona Guided Walking Tour

    While we’re in Verona, we’ll be able to enjoy an excellent guided walking tour of the city to find out more about its past, and to see its best sights. With an expert guide, we’ll explore more of this wonderful location and will learn all about its heritage.
