    With a magnificent included excursion programme to enjoy; this river cruise is sure to make for an unforgettable experience. Join us as we fly from the UK to Siem Reap to begin our cruise, sailing through Cambodia as we follow the Mekong River’s route into Vietnam.

    Among other excursions, we discover the Angkor Wat Temple, visit Kampong Chhnang, and discover Chau Doc, a Vietnamese city bordering Cambodia.

    Our journey through Vietnam takes us to Sa Dec, Vinh Long and Cai Be before we arrive at the marvellous Ho Chi Minh City, formerly known as Saigon. Enjoy a guided tour of this historical city and discover the Chinese-influenced Cholon neighbourhood.

    This beautiful river cruise vessel offers incredible facilities, with excellent river views available from every cabin. Passengers will discover comfortable cabin accommodation on-board, as well as a fantastic selection of cultural activities that you can take part in while sailing.

    There are three decks to discover the Main Deck, the Upper Deck and the Sun Deck, where passengers can relax and enjoy the splendid changing scenery of the Mekong.

    Banteay Srei and Ta Promh
    Banteay Srei translates to the ‘Citadel of Beauty’, and is famous for its beautiful carvings, and for its intricately-details sculptures. We spend time exploring this fascinating temple before we continue to Ta Prohm, a temple that has been reclaimed by nature. Admire ancient temple structures that have trees growing from within them.

    Cai Be
    Cai Be is known for its blossoming fruit orchards, which we travel through during our excursion. We also learn more about its industry, which relies on brickmaking, pottery and chinaware.

    Chalon and the Thien Hau
    Chalon is Ho Chi Minh City’s Chinese-influenced neighbourhood and enjoys a busy atmosphere. Spend time admiring its excellent architecture before we enjoy lunch, after which we have time at leisure. We then make our way to the temple of Thien Hau, dedicated to the Lady of the Sea.

    Chau Doc
    Situated on the border between Cambodia and Vietnam, Chau Doc enjoys a unique position. Now Vietnamese territory, the town’s heart is its bustling market. We admire the wonderful views over the Delta and rice fields while in Chau Doc.

    Explore Angkor Thom
    Angkor Thom is famous for its monumental gates, and for the Mountain Temple of Bayon, which can be found at its centre. The temple boasts a number of towers depicting 172 faces of Buddha, and we will spend time exploring at leisure.

    Full Day: Phnom Penh
    The Cambodian capital, Phnom Penh is filled with wonderful sights having been founded in 1434. We take in some of its best attractions, such as the Silver pagoda, the Royal Palace and the National Museum. 
    Saigon
    Guided tour of Ho Chi Minh City
    Once named Saigon, Ho Chi Minh City was built by the French in 1850 and is home to many amazing sights. During our guided tour of the city, we take in the Reunification palace, Notre Dame Cathedral and Central Post office, as well as enjoying free time to explore at leisure.

    Islands of My Tho
    My Tho boasts a number of tiny islands, which we visit today as we travel by local boat. We take in these unique islands, with their vegetable gardens and fruit orchards. Sailing along the narrow canals, we take in the charming countryside.

    Kampong Chhnang

    Situated close to the city of Phnom Penh, Kampong Chhnang is a major fishing port and is famous for its traditional pottery-making. We explore the village by boat.

    Koh Chen
    Koh Chen is a small village known for its silver- and copper-making. We explore the village and learn more about its history during our visit.

    Sa Dec
    Admire the colonial buildings that still remain in Sa Dec today, before we visit the former dwelling place of Huynh Thuy Le, once the lover of novelist Marguerite Duras.

    Vihara of the Wat Kampong Tralach Leu Pagoda
    We visit the Wat Leu pagoda and take in the Vihara (Buddhist monastery) belonging to this stunning sight. Admire the ancient wall paintings at the Vihara, which dates from the beginning of the last century.

    Visit to a Perfume Factory and the Workshops of Artisans Angkor
    Join us as we make our way to the ‘Senteurs d’Angkor’, a perfume workshop crafting candles, soap and preparing spices. Explore this interesting workshop before we make our way to ‘Artisans Angkor’, where we can witness the arts of traditional wood carving and stonework.

    Visit to Angkor Wat Temple
    A masterpiece of Khmer architecture, the Angkor Wat Temple is one of Angkor’s finest attractions. The temple’s amazing five towers even feature on Cambodia’s national flag, showing just how much of a national symbol they have become.
