    Andorra
    The tiny principality of Andorra is tucked away in the eastern Pyrenees, boasting dramatic mountainous landscapes, narrow valleys and pretty villages. The main road traversing the country is peppered with Romanesque churches and boasts spectacular views across the rugged countryside. 

    Montserrat
    Montserrat mountain looms in the distance of Barcelona and makes a fantastic backdrop to the city. With its multiple peaks and pink colouring, which is caused by the pink conglomerate rock the mountain is composed of, Montserrat makes for an astonishing sight. We’ll get to admire this striking mountain with an en route visit.

    Barcelona
    The Catalan capital, Barcelona, is home to Antoni Gaudí, whose unique architecture is evident throughout the city, most famously in his unfinished masterpiece, the Sagrada Familia. Other famous sights include the Gothic quarter, Las Ramblas, Montjuic and the renowned Camp Nou stadium. 

    Costa Brava – Gerona & EstartitThe Costa Brava is made up of many scenic cities, towns and villages, and Gerona and Estartit are two of its most spectacular. The city of Gerona, with its ancient fortifications and stunning architecture, is a fantastic place to visit, while Estartit is situated in the foothills of the Montgri Massif and so enjoys an extraordinary placement.

    As we travel to our next destination, we make our way via Millau Bridge, the world’s tallest bridge, which is taller even than the Eiffel Tower. We will stop at the bridge to take in the marvellous views available from it, as well as enjoying time to take some pictures!

    We’ll make our way through the beautiful city of Paris during our holiday. This city has a plethora of attractions, and we'll be able to take in a number of them, from the Eiffel Tower to Notre Dame to the Louvre.

    The Catalan capital, Barcelona is a fantastic city to explore at leisure, with its wonderful architecture and bustling atmosphere. Admire Antoni Gaudi’s incredible Modernist creations, including the as-yet-unfinished Sagrada Familia, and spend time shopping along the famous Las Ramblas boulevard.

    This mesmerising city is known for its excellent attractions as much for its delicious cuisine, so be sure to sample some of the local food during our time here!

    Half Day: Girona

    Girona is one of Catalonia’s major cities, and our trip here will be spent at leisure, so we can discover this excellent location to our hearts’ content. With lots of sights to enjoy, we’re sure to be kept busy during our visit! There are the ancient city walls and towers, which mark the entrance to Girona’s Old Town, plus Girona Cathedral, dating from 1015. This cathedral is home to the world’s widest Gothic nave, although it isn’t the only prominent religious building in Girona - there’s also the Sant Pere de Galligants church, and the Collegiate Church of Sant Feliu.

    Andorra
    Andorra la Vella Guided Walking Tour

    Uncover the wonderful city of Andorra La Vella, Andorra’s capital city, with a fascinating guided walking tour. This city enjoys an incredible position in the Riu Gran Valira Valley, ensuring it is surrounding by truly stunning scenery. During our time here, we’ll discover this amazing landscape, while also admiring Andorra La Vella’s historical quarter and taking in its many sights.

    One of Barcelona’s main attractions is the Magic Fountain of Montjuic. This fantastic fountain can be found in the Montjuic neighbourhood and is located below the elegant steps up to the Palau Nacional on Montjuic hill.

    In the evenings, this fountain is transformed into a magnificent light and water show, with music to accompany this spectacular performance.

    Discover some of Barcelona’s very best attractions and landmarks during our exciting guided city tour, so you can see more of this incredible city. Our experienced guide will give us insights into the Catalonian capital’s interesting history. Admire the city’s famous sights, from Gaudi’s incredible architecture to the city’s bustling shopping districts and historical attractions.
    Carcassonne
    Carcassonne guided walking tour
    Located at the heart of the Toulouse-Montpellier-Barcelona Triangle, set high up on a hill, Carcassonne’s unique ancient walled city boasts a wonderful collection of drawbridges, towers and cobbled streets.

    Carcassonne has a wonderfully proud medieval heritage, and in the company of our knowledgeable guide we’ll be able to discover the city and the Basilica of St Nazaire and St Celse. This impressive gothic church was once the city’s cathedral and dates from the 6th century.

    We’ll explore the city centre by the Aude Gate and the Old Bridge, before continuing to the Bastide Saint Louis, one of the largest country houses of France. We’ll then continue onwards to the banks of the Canal du Midi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where our interesting tour of Carcassonne will come to an end.

    En Route: Carcassonne and Foix

    During our holiday, we’ll travel via two stunning towns - Carcassonne and Foix.

    Beginning with Carcassonne, we’ll discover this fortified French town’s famous medieval fortress, the Cite de Carcassonne, as well as its amazing scenery. Continuing into Foix, take in the town’s magnificent medieval Old Town, as well as the Chateau de Foix castle which overlooks the town. 

    Montserrat
    En Route: Montserrat

    Montserrat Monastery, a Benedictine abbey, is located on the mountain of Montserrat and is Catalonia's most important religious retreat. We will travel via this fascinating monastery during our journey, taking in the Basilica, which houses a museum with works of art by prominent painters and sculptors, including works by El Greco, Dali, Picasso and many others.

    Estartit boat trip
    Relax and unwind as we take to the water on this leisurely cruise. Sit back and admire this wonderful underwater world found off the Costa Brava coastline. 

    The Medes Isles can be found around a kilometre off-shore and will provide us with the opportunity to discover, through our glass bottomed boat, the mystery and beauty of undersea life. 

    These amazing islets are home to a range of incredible plant life, as well as the famous large groupers, eagle rays, moray eels, scorpion fish and even octopuses!

    Full Day: Vallnord and Ordino

    Today we make our way to Vallnord, a beautiful resort found in the Pyrenees Mountains in Andorra. This excellent town is known for its ski slopes, offering amazing scenery. We then continue to Ordino, located in northern Andorra at the base of the Casamanya Mountain. This stunning town is famous for its incredible mountain scenery and traditional architecture, narrow streets and bustling atmosphere.

    Half Day: Estartit

    Estartit can be found on the Costa Brava, and is known for its excellent beach and bustling town centre. We’ll visit during our holiday, and will spend time taking in this fantastic fishing village, with its splendid views of the Medes Islands.

    Wander through the busy harbour, spend time discovering the village’s superb beach, and admire the traditional architecture found in the town centre. 

    Sailing on the Seine in Paris
    River Seine Cruise

    Paris is famous for its cultural attractions, but one of the best things to do while here is certainly to take a cruise along the impressive River Seine. 

    This scenic river cuts a beautiful route through the historical city, and so we’ll get to leisurely travel past some of the most famous sights in Paris. Travelling beneath stunning bridges and along busy waterways, we’ll get to see the city in a totally different light. Whether you’ve visited Paris before or this will be your first ever visit, this is an absolute must. 

    The waters of the River Seine have always been the heart and soul of Paris, and so it’s no wonder that its banks are classed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Admire the amazing architecture, see the famous sights and enjoy Paris’ unique atmosphere as we make our way along this historical route. 

    As the river winds its way through the city, enjoy views of the Musee d’Orsay, the impressive Grand Palais and the Notre Dame Cathedral. This is without a doubt a truly excellent way to enjoy the sights of this fascinating city, and makes the ideal way to explore one of the world’s most amazing cities.
