    We’ll be staying on-board the MS Michelangelo, enjoying a four-night full-board cruise, with a Christmas Eve dinner and a celebration on Christmas Day, with dancing and evening entertainment. Not only this, but we’ll be able to explore Venice at leisure, so we can enjoy all this wonderful location has to offer. 

    In addition to all of this, we’ll have four optional excursions to choose from as well, so we can see even more of Venice and its surrounding locations while we’re enjoying our river cruise in Venice over Christmas.

    This welcoming ship offers comfortable accommodation for 158 passengers and is part of the fantastic CroisiEurope fleet. The ship’s stylish interior has a great many facilities to enjoy, including a lounge area, bar, dance floor, tasteful dining room, gift shop and a large Sun Deck.

    All 78 cabins on-board are fully equipped with a shower and toilet, along with a hairdryer, satellite TV, radio, safe, central heating/air conditioning, 220V electricity and radiophone. There are 28 cabins located on the Upper Deck, while 50 cabins can be found on the Main Deck.

    Passengers will enjoy delicious food served on-board, with an extensive buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner with a French inspiration served each day. There is also a fine wine menu available on-board; allowing passengers to indulge during their river cruise experience.

      Passengers sailing on-board the MS Michelangelo are sure to enjoy their stay, with a relaxing place to retire to after a wonderful day of sailing. The Main Deck Twin/Double Cabins have large picture windows to admire the changing scenery, as well as offering fantastic facilities to ensure passengers are well-catered for.

      Each cabin comes with a safe, hairdryer, flat-screen TV, air conditioning, heating and telephone. There are also fixed twin beds and an en suite bathroom with a shower cubicle.

    Burano Venice Italy
    Burano and Murano

    We’ll take a ride on a private boat to these two beautiful islands, both located on Venice’s Lagoon. Beginning with Burano, we’ll find a patchwork of colourful houses and will be able to uncover the island’s lacemaking history, for which it is famous. Onwards to Murano, known for its glassmaking, here we’ll find quaintly cobbled streets and a charming island.

    Doge’s Palace and St Mark’s Square

    Our guided visit will begin with Doge’s Palace, a Venetian Gothic palace that is still today one of Venice’s most notable landmarks. With its stunning architecture and important historical significance, which palace is always interesting to visit, and is a sight for sore eyes.

    We’ll then move on to St Mark’s Square, the only piazza in Venice, and famous for St Mark’s Basilica, which lies at the eastern edge of the square.

    Padua
    Padua

    We’ll take a trip to Padua, one of Italy’s most beautiful and architecturally important cities. The setting for Shakespeare’s play The Taming of the Shrew, Padua is filled with wonderful historical sights and stunning scenery. With medieval architecture, a lively and modern atmosphere, and an incredibly intriguing history, this city is filled with things to see and do.
