Christmas in Croatia by Express Coach

Local departure by coach or Home Connect service, then travel through the night on our overnight express coach.

We arrive in at our hotel in Istria and have time to settle into our hotel for our first night in this beautiful destination.

Today we travel to the scenic west coast of the Istrian Peninsular to discover the charming town of Rovinj with its pretty pastel-coloured houses. We also visit Pula, one of the jewels in Istria's crown. In both locations, enjoy the festive vibe and Christmas stalls aligning the streets!

Enjoy an included excursion to the most visited caves in Europe! We cross the border to Slovenia and discover a magical underground world of caverns and galleries with an included train journey to admire this natural phenomenon! At this time of year, the caves are renowned for their subterranean nativity scenes!

Relax and make yourself at home on Christmas Day! We celebrate with a festive turkey Christmas lunch at the hotel.

Take the opportunity to join our optional excursion to cross the border over to Italy and visit the maritime city of Trieste. Meander around the city centre and enjoy a plethora of festive feel from the captivating nativity scenes in the Piazza Unita to the charming artisan stalls and take a stroll along Adriatic coastline.

As our holiday draws to a close, we’ll say goodbye to Istria and travel overnight northwards.
