    • The Hotel was originally called the Riggs Windermere Hotel, named after Thomas Rigg, who built it in 1847

    We’ll visit the attractive market town of Kendal today, famous for its mint cake. We’ll be able to visit the bustling town centre to enjoy some shopping, before we continue our journey and call at the K Village, the Lakes Outlet, where we’ll find a wide assortment of shops.
