    Join us on an excellent holiday to Windermere, as we explore the stunning natural landscape of the Lake District. We’ll stay at the Windermere Hotel, which is situated atop a hill that overlooks the village of Windermere and provides wonderful views of the surrounding countryside.     We’ll begin with an excursion to the Northern Lakelands, so we can discover beautiful Dalemain House and Gardens, before continuing on to charming Keswick and Grasmere.

    Our final excursion will be to Kendal, a lovely market town in South Lakeland. We’ll then be able to enjoy a spot of shopping at the K Village - the Lakes Outlet.

    Full Day: Northern Lakelands

    Today, we’ll explore the dramatic beauty of the Northern Lakelands. Travelling via the famous Kirkstone Pass, we’ll make our way to Dalemain House, which has been the home of the Hasell McCosh family for over 11 generations. Here, we’ll discover and enjoy four centuries of history, acres of beautiful gardens and stunning parkland.

    After this, we’ll continue on our journey and will call at Keswick, located on the northern shores of Derwentwater. We’ll be able to admire the lovely views here, and may even be able to enjoy some shopping at the local market, which has been held for over 700 years! During our return journey, we’ll travel via pretty Grasmere.

    Kendal
    Half Day: Kendal & Levens Hall

    Call at the bustling market town of Kendal and visit Levens Hall – a magnificent Elizabethan house with its world famous Topiary Gardens.

    We’ll visit the attractive market town of Kendal today, famous for its mint cake. We’ll be able to visit the bustling town centre to enjoy some shopping, before we continue our journey and call at the K Village, the Lakes Outlet, where we’ll find a wide assortment of shops.
