    Lynton, with its picturesque harbour and pretty coastline, makes the ideal place to stay for relaxing short breaks in Devon. There’s always something to do here, whether it’s enjoying a lazy day exploring the town’s splendid beaches, taking a leisurely walk along the coastline, or discovering Lynton’s many sights and attractions.

    The town boasts a number of places to visit, including its museum, model railway and cliff railway, as well as Middleham Gardens, the Valley of Rocks and Glen Lyn Gorge. 


    If you’re after holidays in Devon, you really can’t go wrong with a break to Lynton. It’s the perfect choice, thanks to its stunning placement along Devon’s beautiful coastline. The pretty town of Lynmouth is within easy reach as well, and you can always take a ride on the fantastic Lynton and Lynmouth Cliff Railway to take in the spectacular views available here.

    As Lynton is located within the Exmoor National Park, you can expect to find wonderful scenery here. Aside from relaxing at this great hotel, you could also pay a visit to the scenic Middleham Gardens, or why not take a walk around the town centre? If you enjoy walking, you’ll be pleased to know that both the South West Coast Path and Tarka Trail run through Lynton, and you can always enjoy a leisurely stroll along these fantastic walking routes.

    Be sure to stop at one of Lynton’s cliff-top cafes for a bite to eat, or take a trip to the astounding Valley of Rocks.
