    Many internationally known places of interest are located in the South East region of England such as the HMS Victory in Portsmouth, Cliveden in Buckinghamshire, Thorpe Park and RHS Wisley in Surrey, Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire, Windsor Castle in Berkshire and Canterbury Cathedral in Kent, and  Brighton Pier in East Sussex, as well as the famous University of Oxford.

    The region is also renowned for its marvellous countryside, which includes the North Downs and the Chiltern Hills as well as two national parks: the New Forest and the South Downs.
