The old city of Ghent is a Belgian medieval cloth town with a stunning concentration of Flemish art and architecture. Known as the Belgian hipster capital, it’s one of Europe’s greatest discoveries. The small town has recently gained a reputation for being a place for foodies, fashionistas, music fans and design lovers with its various museums, artistic shops, fascinating squares and lively restaurant scene. It’s without a doubt one of Belgium’s most awe-inspiring cities, combining an impressive past with a vivid present.

Of all the cities in Belgium, Ghent truly stands out with its unique architecture and quirky buildings. It’s a vibrant and charming metropolis with a booming restaurant scene, stretching along a network of narrow canals overseen by dozens of antique brick houses. Our tours to Ghent allow you to step back in time and appreciate the delights of this lovely city, taking in key landmarks in and around the city with included and optional excursions.  You will be amazed by how much there is to discover in every corner of this place.

There’s so much to see and do in this impressive little city. Ghent offers the opportunity to discover important buildings from the middle-ages including the  St Bavon Cathedral, which features architectural elements of Gothic and Romanesque styles and is home of the famous “Mystic Lamb” painting. Visitors can enjoy a good view of the city from the top of the Cathedral's tower. Other attractions include St-Baafskathedraal, Grasburg bridge, Roeland Bell, the Unesco-listed 14th century Belfort, and the town’s splendid Cloth Hall.  And if you’re into art, Graffiti is positively encouraged as an art form, so make sure you look out for it in Ghent’s narrow streets.
