12th – 18th July A historic and unique sailing regatta has evolved into the West Coast's biggest sailing event incorporating the towns of Craobh, Oban and Tobermory and enjoys a distinctive blend of varied competitive racing along with a full programme of social events and on shore entertainment! SCARBOROUGH SEAFEST 25th – 27th July Scarborough's International Maritime Festival focussing on the town's maritime history. The three day festival takes place around the harbour, pier and in community buildings around the town Scarborough  
200TH ANNIVERSARY
OPENING OF RYDE PIER
26th July The oldest surviving pier in the country celebrates its 200th anniversary on the 26th July 2014. A host of activities are planned to mark the event. Ryde

CARNIVAL
26th July 2014 marks the 125th anniversary of Sandown Carnival and plans are afoot for the biggest and best carnival ever! Sandown is one of the oldest
carnivals on the island and each year ever effort is made to ensure that it is bigger and brighter than the last!

2nd – 28th August The 21st International Gilbert & Sullivan Festival will take place in Harrogate from the 2nd - 28th August 2014, with a full programme of performances taking place at the Royal Hall and Harrogate Theatre (ticket required - not included) Harrogate  
BOARDMASTERS 6th – 10th August The very best of beach-side lifestyle with surfing exhibitions and competitions as well as on shore entertainment and concerts Newquay  
FALMOUTH WEEK 8th – 17th August One of the largest sailing regatta's in the south west with yacht racing and a lively programme of shoreside events Newquay  
PAIGNTON REGATTA 9th – 17th August A good, old-fashioned week of traditional seaside fun, taking place mainly on Paignton Green. This will be the 167th year of the Regatta and there is a packed programme of events! Paignton

15th – 19th August The Rose of Tralee is one of Ireland largest and longest running festivals, and brings young women of Irish descent to County Kerry in August every year. Tralee

Great Yarmouth Festival of Bowls 24th August – 19th September The biggest outdoor bowling event in the UK with over 1800 participants with plenty of space for spectators to enjoy the play! Great Yarmouth  
TORBAY ROYAL
REGATTA FIREWORKS
25th August The fireworks commence at 9.30pm (weather permitting) from Corbyn Head - good viewpoints inlucde the Princess Pier and Torquay Seafront - this exciting event is spectacular with plenty of towering starbursts, shimmering comets, beautiful bouquets and a stunning finale Torquay  
BUDE JAZZ FESTIVAL 26th – 29th August Now in its 27th year, the Bude Jazz Festival focusing on Traditional and New Orleans Jazz whilst holding on to the most popular of other styles from years gone by. Newquay  
RED ARROWS 27th August Part of the Torbay Royal Regatta, the Red Arrows perform a magnifcent display across the English Riviera - get down to Beacon Quay early for a good spot and for a commentary from the Red Arrows Team (6pm - weather permitting) Torquay

28th August The perfect way to round off the summer season in seaside Sandown -
featuring dozens of brightly-lit floats and vehicles plus hundreds of costumed paraders as the procession weaves it way through the town to the delight of thousands of specators!

Llandudno Christmas Parade 6th December There will be various seasonal entertainment outside the Town Hall before the procession departs, featuring Father Christmas and other festival attractions! Llandudno  
Christmas Day Harbour Swim 25th December Take a stroll to the harbour before lunch and cheer on the swimmers who brave the waters to cross the harbour.  Over 150 took part last year raising hundreds of pounds for charity! Weymouth
