Beautiful Switzerland

This is an absolutely superb holiday. All you could ask for in a winter holiday, without the skiing. The excursions were sensational, especially the trips on the trains. If you can, I would reccomend taking the optional tours as well. Oh, and not forgetting the drivers, we had a pair of comedians, who certainly help make this one of the best holidays we have taken.

winter on the glacier express

just got back from winter on the glacier express with shearings. Hotel food was basic but edible and the staff were helpful. Two main points of interest for customers. Dont buy the packed lunch from the hotel which cost 15 swiss francs as you can get it cheaper at the store down the road for 7 francs also the guided tour of berne is not worth the money its best to be dropped off and see it for yourself, otherwise everything else ok

Glacier express

We have just returned from the glacier express holiday in Switzerland. It was a truly fantastic holiday and the coach drivers Chris & Tony made it extra special, they were enthusiastic, informative, and hilarious. The Hotel food was limited but adequate. the staff were very pleasant and helpfull. Although the packed lunch was expensive at 15 francs, and food was available elswhere on this day trip.If you can take all the optional trips they are sensational and well worth the money.
