This holiday certainly shows the splendours of Switzerland

My wife and I were on the same holiday as Dave B.I can only reiterate what he has said.A wonderful time was had by all,the Hotels were very comfortable and a good variety of food in every one.The drivers John and Ian are exceptionally informative in all aspects of the holiday and every town or village we passed through. This was only our second holiday with Shearings but I would not hesitate in recommending them to friends.

a lovely holiday

just returned from this holiday and the only advice we would give is take no notice of the negative comments left earlier. we were a little bit wary having read some of the negativity but can honestly say we enjoyed it. the drivers, John and Ian, were first class, the trips were enjoyable and the hotel comfortable. if people want a 5star hotel they should pay 5star prices. the hotels on the outward and return journeys were also good and much better than some we have stayed in with Shearings in the past so lets hope Shearings have got the wake up call at last. finally, we travelled with some nice people.

Best holiday ever.......

We have just returned from our trip to Switzerland and it was fantastic. Our driver Lee was a brilliant driver & knew a lot about the places we visited. The hotels in france on the way there & back were lovely & clean. The main hotel for our stay was lovely & quiet ,rooms really warm & cosy.Food was not the best but we never went hungry. We were told Switzerland was very expensive, but we did not find prices to be much higher than at home,a bottle of beer in the hotel around 6 swiss franc, not bad at all, eating out of a lunch time could be a bit more expensive than home,we just had a bowl of soup or a sandwich. The trips were amazing i will never forget them.Do the extra trips they are well worth it...just great
