Olot, Rupit and Sau Reservoir: A chance to visit the exquisite towns of Gerona nd Cadaques on a full day excursion. The old town of Gerona is one of the most evocative historical centres in Catalonia, with certain elements that are unique to Europe. For example the Carolingian Wall, and the grandeur of the Cathedral's gothic nave. We then continue to the small fishing town of Cadaques that in the early years could only be visited by boat, Crystal clear waters, Cadaques, sits right on the edge of the Cap de Creus Peninsula where the Pyrenees mountains meet the sea.

Holiday Details

Days 1-2: UK to Lloret We travel to Dover for our ferry crossing to Calais and then drive overnight down to the resort of Lloret arriving mid morning.

Day 3: Local Market After breakfast we visit to a local Spanish market for the chance to pick up some bargains and get a real feel of the Spanish atmosphere. The afternoon is yours to relax by the pool or explore your surroundings.

Days 4-5: Time in resort Enjoy free time in the resort. Or why not join us for our optional excursion to the amazing monastery at Monserrat? A highlight for many visitors. Your driver will also be offering you the chance to visit the exquisite towns of Gerona and Cadaques on a full day excursion.

Day 6: Barcelona Today we visit the vibrant capital city of Catalonia and Spain's second city, Barcelona. Stroll the famous Rambles, explore the Gothic Quarter, the church of Sagrada Familia or the many architectural wonders of Gaudi, Barcelona's famous son. There's so much to see and do. Make sure you don't miss a thing with our optional guided city tour.

Day 7: Scenic Costa Brava The chance to take in the wonderful scenic views and visit some local villages with our included scenic tour of Costa Brava.

Days 8-9: Lloret to UK It's time goodbye to Spain and Lloret as we depart in the afternoon for our overnight journey to Calais and the ferry crossing back to Dover and home.
