Holiday Details

The time honoured tradition of Carnival has been celebrated throughout Europe since the Middle Ages, and continues to live on today. The Venice Carnival is the perfect opportunity to get involved in the fun of the pre-Lent celebration and our trip to Italy's jewel the puts you right in the action of it all. Or with so much free time, you can explore the magical city at your own pace.
Day 1 Depart UK
To Calais, then overnight to Italy.
Day 2 Arrive Lido de Jesolo
In to Italy, we continue to our resort for the next six nights, Lido de Jesolo. (D)
Day 3 At Leisure in Venice
By private boat from Punta Sabbioni in to Venice, to enjoy free time to explore the city, or join the optional guided walking tour. Experience the magic of St Marks Square, and the Doges Palace among others. (B,D)
Day 4 At Leisure in Venice
Return to the magical city of Venice, by means of our private boat transfer. Tonight, enjoy dinner in a restaurant in Venice. (B,D)
Day 5 Islands of the Lagoon Cruise
Enjoy a half day cruise to visit the islands of the lagoon. The afternoon is free to relax in resort. (B,D)
Day 6 Day at Leisure
Relax in Lido de Jesolo, or why not join our optional excursion to visit the beautiful city of Verona, and nearby Lake Garda? (B,D)
Day 7 Vechhio Mulino
Enjoy a day at Il Vecchio Mulino, or the 'old Windmill' for a light lunch and wine tasting. (B,L,D)
Day 8 Depart Lido de Jesolo
After breakfast, depart Lido to journey northwards through the night. (B)
Day 9 Arrive UK
To Calais, across to Dover, then home.
