Welcome to Venice, capital of the Veneto region. This delightful cruise offers a unique cultural experience. Visit the beautiful city of Venice, Chioggia - locally named Little Venice and many delightful Italian ports. Be sure to join the optional excursion to the ‘Islands of the Lagoon’ and see Burano and the famous glass makers of Murano.

In 2013 the MS Michelangelo will be in port at various times during the Venice Carnival. Join a cruise on 1st, 5th or 9th February to enjoy the remarkable city of Venice during the carnival.

Holiday Details

Day 1 UK to Venice
Fly from the UK to Venice. Enjoy a welcome cocktail upon arrival on board.

Day 2 Venice
Enjoy breakfast as we cruise the Lagoon returning for lunch at Midday. There is time this afternoon to join the optional boat trip to the Island of Burano, famous for its lacework and Murano, known throughout the world for its ancestral glass blowing. Enjoy some free time in Venice before dinner and dancing this evening. We remain in Venice overnight.

Day 3 Venice
After breakfast on board enjoy the optional visit to Doge’s Palace and the famous St Mark’s Square. Enjoy more time this afternoon to explore Venice. Overnight stop.

Day 4 Venice – Chioggia (or area) – Venice
Breakfast on board as we cruise across the magnificent Bay of Venice to Chioggia. A port city of Roman origin, Chioggia was the second most important city in the republic of La Serenissima. Lunch on board will be followed in the afternoon with the opportunity to enjoy the optional excursion to Padua. We cruise back to Venice then this evening we enjoy a gala dinner.

Day 5 Venice to UK
Disembark after breakfast and transfer back to the airport for your flight home.
