Travel by boat from Sorrento to discover the three principle areas of Capri – the historic port, Anacapri, offering stunning views over the bay of Naples, and stylish Capri town.

Enjoy a true taste of the Neapolitan Riviera at the spectacular Tasso Theatre musical show. A medley of popular Neapolitan song and dance will certainly set toes tapping!

Grand Hotel Plaza, Montecatini
Once residence of the composer Verdi, the charming Grand Hotel Plaza is centrally located in the heart of the charming spa town of Montecatini.

Hotel Corallo, Sorrentine Peninsula
The beautiful Hotel Corallo enjoys a spectacular position in Sant'Agnello overlooking the bay of Naples on the Sorrentine Peninsula.

Hotel Clitunno, Spoleto
The Hotel Clitunno is an historic dwelling with a relaxed atmosphere, set in the centre of Spoleto's old town, just a short walk from the Duomo.

Holiday Details

Day 1: UK to Reims
Relax aboard your Grand Tourer coach as we cross to Calais then head to Reims for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Reims to Northern Italy
Today we travel across the rolling fields of Northern France and into Italy for an overnight stay at the 4* Hotel Cruise. (B,D)

Day 3: Lake Como to Montecatini
We continue through Italy to Renaissance capital Florence. Explore this impressive city including the Piazza della Signoria, the ancient Duomo and imposing Santa Croce. We continue onwards for a two night stay at the 4* Grand Hotel Plaza, in the centre of Montecatini. (B,D)

Day 4: Montecatini
Relax at leisure in charming Montecatini, a pretty spa town set amid rolling hills. You may wish to join our full day optional excursion to Pisa and lovely Lucca, birthplace of Puccini. (B,D)

Day 5: Montecatini to Rome
A lunchtime arrival in the ‘Eternal City’ with free time to explore the countless famous sights of this most romantic of cities. Throw a coin in the spectacular Trevi fountain or discover the Vatican city. Enjoy the spellbinding beauty of Rome by night, with our optional guided tour. We stay at the 4* Cardinal St Peter Hotel. (B,D)

Day 6: Rome to Sorrento
Heading south via Pompeii, the legendary town frozen in time. (Please note that an entrance fee to the site is payable locally). We drive to the Sorrentine Peninsula for a three-night stay at the 4* Hotel Corallo in Sant’Agnello, which has unrivalled views over the bay of Naples from the hotel terrace. (B,D)

Day 7: Sorrento/Capri
A full day included excursion takes you by boat to the enchanting Isle of Capri. Shop in the stylish boutiques or admire spectacular views. This evening we enjoy a lively Neapolitan performance at Sorrento’s very own theatre - Teatro Tasso. (B,D)

Day 8: Sorrento
Explore lively Sorrento at your own pace, and enjoy a spot of people watching in one of the pavement cafés. Alternatively join our optional excursion and discover the scenic delights of the world-famous Amalfi Drive coastline, where cliffsides spill down to the crystal waters of the Mediterranean Sea. (B,D)

Day 9: Sorrento to Orvieto
We head northwards, with visits to Montecassino Abbey and the moving second world war cemetery at Montecassino, before arrving at the Umbrian town of Spoleto. We relax for two nights at the charming 4* Hotel Clitunno. (B,D)

Day 10: Spoleto
Achance to enjoy the Umbrian lifestyle and explore this beautiful old town further or join our optional full day excursion to picturesque Lake Trasimeno and historic Assisi. (B,D)

Day 11: Spoleto to Tabiano
Northwards to Parma and free-time in the city before heading on to Tabiano, for an overnight stay at the 4* Hotel Ducale. (B,D)

Day 12: Tabiano to Mulhouse
Continuing north, we head to the medieval town of Mulhouse for an overnight stay, via the Gothard Pass (weather permitting) and elegant Stresa, on the shores of Lake Maggiore. (B,D)

Day 13: Mulhouse to Northern France
We cross the border into France today for our final overnight stay. (B,D)

Day 14: Northern France to UK
We head to Calais, enjoy our voyage across to Dover and then home. (B)
