Holiday Details

Day 1: UK to Paris
We head to Dover for our ferry crossing to Calais and then onto Paris for our overnight stay.
Day 2: Paris to Venice
We have an early start as we head to Paris train station for our journey on the TGV train down to Milan. On arrival in Milan we embark on a coach trip across Italy through the plains of Veneto to the outskirts of Venice for dinner and a two night stay at the 4* Hotel Albatros.
Day 3: Venice
Today we have a free day for you to explore this wonderful city at your leisure, after a guided walking tour. Some of the many memorable sights of the 'Queen of the Adriatic' include bustling St Mark's Square, the Doge's Palace, the romantic Bridge of Sighs and the famous Rialto Bridge. We offer an optional cruise along the city's main canals.
Day 4: Venice to Pisa to Incisa
Today we journey to the striking city of Pisa and the famous leaning tower, Knight's Square, many churches and museums. Then onwards to Incisa, south of Florence, for one night at the 3* Hotel Ciegli.
Day 5: Florence to Chianciano
A day's sightseeing in the wonderful city of Florence, where a guided walking tour is included to sights such as Piazza Della Signoria, the historic Santa Croce, the Duomo and the Ponte Vecchio. We then head to the south of Tuscany and the 3* Hotel Mizar (or similar), our base for three nights.
Day 6: Assisi and Siena
A chance to explore the hilltop Umbrian town and birthplace of St Francis, founder of the Franciscan order here in the 13th century. We also visit the historic city of Siena. Optional walking tours are offered in both these locations so you don't miss anything.
Day 7: Rome
Today we have a guided tour of the Eternal City which takes in all the main sights, before leaving the afternoon free for you to explore at your leisure. From the Trevi Fountain and Colosseum, to the impressive Vatican City and Spanish Steps, the amount of amazing sights in this wonderful city is endless.
Day 8: Chianciano to Milan
Today we travel to the cosmopolitan city of Milan. Free time is offered, or join an optional guided city tour. Shop til you drop or discover the wonderful ancient cathedral. We spend a night north of the city at the 4* Hotel Valgrande in Domodossola.
Day 9: Milan to Paris
A morning transfer back to Milan station for the TGV train journey back to Paris, through the spectacular scenery of the Alps. In Paris your coach will take you to your overnight hotel in Northern France.
Day 10: Northern France to UK
Today we head back to Calais for our ferry crossing over to Dover and then onwards home.
