Holiday Details

Wednesday: Embark in Trier
Joining your ship in Trier, you can enjoy the facilities or explore the historic town of Trier.
Thursday: Trier to Bernkastel
After a leisurely morning with more time to explore Trier, we head to Bernkastel. Take a stroll to see the colourful medieval market square, one of the most beautiful in Europe.
Friday: Bernkastel to Traben-Trarbach
Traben-Trarbach is actually two villages, occupying the two banks of the Moselle. The twin towns have become a centre for Moselle wine – be sure to sample a drop or two!
Saturday: Traben-Trarbach to Cochem
Cochem is home to the 1,000-year-old Reichsburg castle. Take time to explore the town and venture to the oldest mustard mill in Europe, built in 1810. A port steeped in history.
Sunday: Cochem to Koblenz
Koblenz is surrounded by four low mountain ranges, providing a lovely background to the city. As the joining point of the Rhine and Moselle, Koblenz is situated on the confluence of the Moselle and Rhine rivers.
Monday: Koblenz to Rüdesheim
Enjoy breakfast with a view as we continue to Rüdesheim today. The village is famous for the Rheingauer Riesling white wine as well as a red wine, Assmannshäuser Spätburgunder, that is made in the next village. A lively town with bars and taverns to offer a sample of the local produce.
Tuesday: Rüdesheim – Andernach – Cologne
Again we’ll cruise through breakfast to arrive in Andernach. Look for the two hills that form what was known as Andernachian Gate in Roman times. Later in the afternoon we’ll cruise to Cologne where you can wander the lovely old town in the evening.
Wednesday: Disembark in Cologne
We say goodbye to the MPS Rotterdam.
