This cruise allows you to drink in the scenery as you explore colourful villages, gothic churches, medieval towns and ancient castles, as well as discover the myths and legends of the Loreley Rock.

Holiday Details

Wednesday: Embark in Cologne
Welcome aboard the MPS Rotterdam. Time to explore your ship or discover the magic of Cologne, with its enchanting old town and grand cathedral.
Thursday: Cologne - Königswinter - Linz
We set sail for popular Königswinter, with its Seven Mountains museum and cogwheel railway up Drachenfels Mountain. Our next stop is charming Linz, where sights include a medieval moated castle.
Friday: Linz to Boppard
We continue south to the Roman fortress town of Boppard, the ‘Pearl of the Rhine’. Enjoy Boppard’s well-preserved promenade and picturesque location at the foot of six scenic valleys.
Saturday: Boppard to Rüdesheim
Today’s cruise takes in the legendary Loreley Rock, where the beautiful Loreley lured navigators to their doom with her captivating singing.
Sunday: Rüdesheim to Mainz
This morning we cruise to Mainz, former fort city and capital of Rhineland. Acquaint yourself with this 2000-year-old city where sights include the Roman temple, royal palace, cathedral and Marc Chagall’s Blue Window.
Monday: Mainz to Koblenz
At the northern end of the Rhine Gorge the Rhine meets the Moselle and the scenery is breathtaking. Explore the charming medieval centre of Koblenz. And for truly spectacular river views, take the cable car to the Fortress.
Tuesday: Koblenz - Bonn - Cologne
Today’s port of call is Bonn, Beethoven’s birthplace and home to the beautiful botanic gardens at Poppelsdorf Palace. Later we retrace our journey back to Cologne enjoying the Captain’s farewell dinner in the evening.
Wednesay: Disembark in Cologne
Time to say goodbye to the Rhine Valley and the MPS Rotterdam.
