Tuesday: UK to Belgium
Across to Calais and our hotel in Belgium for our overnight stay.

Wednesday: Belgium to Würzburg
We join the MPS Da Vinci for our cruise along the beautiful Main and Danube rivers.

Join by Air

Wednesday: UK to Würzburg
Fly to Frankfurt where you will be met at the airport by a representative and transferred to the MPS Da Vinci for your cruise.

Cruising Itinerary

Wednesday: Embark in Würzburg
Join the elegant MPS Da Vinci in Würzburg, a beautiful Baroque city.

Thursday: Würzburg to Schweinfurt
Today we set sail to Schweinfurt arriving early evening. Take a stroll along the Main River or explore the town hall square with its impressive monument of Friedrich Rückert, a famous poet and town descendant.

Friday: Schweinfurt to Bamberg
We cruise through the morning to arrive in Bamberg with so much to see and do. Visit the medieval city centre, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, or the outstanding Old Bridge Town Hall and the imperial cathedral. Bamberg is most famous for its beer, a tradition going back a thousand years. Be sure to sample the renowned smoked beer.

Saturday: Bamberg to Nuremberg
We sail through the morning to Nuremberg, city of toys. Established in the 11th century and now the second largest city in Bavaria, Nuremberg is bursting with historical sites such as Nuremberg Castle; the old city moat which still exists but has never been filled with water; and the Albrecht Durer House, Nuremberg’s only Gothic building.

Sunday: Nuremberg to Riedenburg
Today experience a highlight of the cruise as we sail the Danube-Main Canal. After passing the canal, we moor at the historic town of Riedenburg, located in the Altmuehl Valley.

Monday: Riedenburg to Regensburg
Regensburg, one of the oldest and best preserved medieval cities in Europe, is our destination today. Take time to visit the many buildings and monuments of this wonderful city, including the Dome St Peter and the Stone Bridge.

Tuesday: Regensburg to Passau
Passau is situated at the confluence of the Danube, Inn and Ilz and is fondly known as ‘The Three Rivers City’. Located at the Austrian border, Passau is one of the most spectacular cities on the Danube. Venture into the Old Town to see St Steven’s Cathedral, housing one of the world’s largest cathedral organs. Explore the majestic fortress sitting high above the river and the Pilgrimage Church ‘Mariahilf ’– sights not to be missed!

Wednesday: Disembark in Passau
Time to depart the MPS Da Vinci with fantastic memories of the Main and Danube.

Return by Coach

Wednesday: Passau to Belgium
We wave goodbye to the MPS Da Vinci and make the journey by coach to our overnight hotel.

Thursday: Belgium to UK
We travel on to Calais for our ferry to Dover and continue home.

Return by Air

Wednesday: Passau to UK
From the MPS Da Vinci, transfer to either Munich or Salzburg airport for the flight back to the UK.
