We would definitely recommend this holiday. The coach driver was very friendly and helpful and provided plenty of comfort stops . The overnight hotel in France was very good and the meal, although exactly the same menu for the outward in home journey, was totally acceptable. The Hotel Lindenhof is family run, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff friendly and efficient. They were always more than happy to provide information about the village and surrounding area. Breakfast was the usual continental fare, with lots of fresh fruit and lovely local breads. There was a choice of menu for the evening meal main course and the food was plentiful and appetising.Drinks in the hotel and other local bars were very reasonably priced (we took the same amount of Euros as for France last year but only spent about two thirds).Braunlingen is a lovely little village, with lots of pathways through the forests to other villages. Bakeries open at 6 a.m., so you can buy a picnic lunch and then just walk. The included trips were good, Lake Constance is nice but Mainau is lovely, especially if gardening is your thing. The Black Forest Tour was fantastic, we visited some nice little villages, breathtaking views with a few scary hairpin bends. Dave, the driver, was very knowledgeable about the area and really did make the day enjoyable (although be warned - his jokes are dire). As we wanted some days off the coach, the only optional excursion we did was the Blumberg railway, which personally we found a little disappointing but others on the trip did enjoy it very much.Overall, a wonderful holiday with fantastic weather and good company.
