Good value for money holiday

A good value holiday for anyone who hasnt visited Berlin and the Baltic coast. The excursions were good and informative although Berlin was an interesting city,Lubeck was probably the most picturesque.Hamburg was a big city, and our advice would be to take the optional tour(we didnt and found three hours free time a lot to fill in)Stralsund was an interesting town, almost an island, surrounded by lakes with only 5 roads in.The Rugen and Usedom islands were of interest, would have liked a planned visit to the Peenamunde museum where the V1 & V2 weapons were assembled and fired.

Berlin and the Baltic Coast

A good taster for this fascinating area of Germany. Hotel in Berlin good, food excellent, and well situated for sightseeing. Stralsund on the Baltic coast is a pretty place to stay. The trip to Ruegen Island is a must - such a beautiful island. Our driver was very knowledgable, and this made for a greater appreciation of the places we visited, or passed by on our travels. Once again, Shearings, a very good holiday. Thank you.
