This was the first holiday we have taken with Shearings. As a company we thought they were very efficient and well organised. The hotel was in need of updating, the bedrooms were very dated, although kept nice and clean thanks to the efficient, hardworking staff. The bathroom was adequate but lacked any storage space for toiletries. However the food was very good and the dining room staff were excellent. Overall the holiday was good value for money.

A relaxing 3 night stay at a Shearings we hadn't been too before. A nice comfortable room, attentive staff and good choice of food. The let down was the surprise to find a £5 per night charge to park in the Hotel car park. This is a recent ill advised step, in that, promoting special offers through brochures and emails you then have to remember stinging parking costs that seems to be at all Hotel's even those with big car parks! So self-drive folk beware!

Just spent Monday to Friday with my husband and two friends at the Majestic Hotel Bournemouth. We had a really good time. Lovely hotel nice and warm nice staff and fabulous entertainment. Very good food excellent choices. Amanda Jayne Neil Scott and Bob the comedian were brilliant. Could not have asked for more. As for value for money this was first class. Bus stop handy and a nice walk down to the beach about 20 mins. Will definitely be coming back

Had a great 5 day midweek break. This was our 3rd visit to the Majestic. The staff are so friendly, the food is very good. The Entertainment continues to be brilliant (Amanda Jane) as good as always. A special thank you to Lisa for all her help. The room was very nice. We will be back again soon.

Just got back from a mon-fri, break, wish it had been a two week break, loved the place. Hotel spot on very polite and attentive staff. Food was excellent and varied, not a ten min walk into town about 25 mins. But plenty of buses at the end of the road 2 mins away. Always some entertainment on every evening, and the snooker table came in very handy. All in all would definitely visit this hotel again.

Can’t fault this hotel at all the staff go out their way to make your stay is the best they can. This is the 2nd time I have been here and the hotel hasn’t slipped in the service for guests. The room was great and couldn’t fault it at all. Will be going back again for sure.

Stayed at the majestic on a Mon -Friday break had a fab time Good Food, Good Company Entertainment very good the trips out were very good driver was fab took us all around Bournemouth the hotel in much need of some T/L/C For what we paid it was good value for money and the drink tickets helped thank you Shearings for a lovely holiday. I’m sure we will be back.

This is our forth w/end break and has always been very good value rooms are ok but a little tired food always very good staff can’t do enough they are fantastic well done to all which always make a stay worthwhile entertainment really good this year we had a rockin roll group they were brilliant would I return yes.

Were transferred here when hotel we booked closed. We had a lovely room, food was good +varied menu. Our waitress Klara was lovely, friendly +very helpful. The entertainment was excellent, on Friday we had Neil Scott, good voice, easy listening +on Saturday Amanda-Jayne. What can I say she was hilarious, very dry sense of humour + a good singer to, followed by duo Notable, also very good. Will definitely return.

Just returned from 3 nights in majestic, if you want the Ritz may not be for you but this is a good clean and comfortable well run hotel. Staff were very helpful food was good, hot and plentiful and entertainment was brilliant, the rock band called red alert were excellent as was the comic impressionest. Would we go again most certainly.

First time with Shearings. We had an excellent weekend break away. The room was clean and welcoming with fresh towels every day. Food was cooked really well and the menu varied. Entertainment was good and the staff were very helpful and pleasant. Couldn't fault this hotel. Thanks to all.

A lovely hotel in a very nice area, it was very clean even though some parts of the hotel needed up dating, but after saying that evidence of work was going on around the hotel but didn’t spoil our stay. I could not fault the staff as they were all very helpful. The meals were acceptable but I have to say we have had better at other Shearings hotels. The entertainment was varied and on each evening thank you to all the hotel staff for everything they did during our stay

We really had a great stay at this hotel. All was really clean, room was very good. The dining experience was excellent. The varied menu was very attractive and the food cooked really well. All the staff were very helpful and pleasant. Entertainment was provided each evening and this was varied to suit all tastes. Thanks to all for a good holiday.
