About Broadway Park Hotel

The Broadway Park Hotel, once the magnificent mansion house of a Victorian entrepreneur, has great character and much architectural interest, making it one of the most popular Sandown hotels. A short pleasant stroll from the seafront, the hotel is set in its own grounds and is one of the most attractively located hotels in Sandown. Sandown is everything a holiday resort should be, with an enviable position on the wide sweep of Sandown Bay and a magnificent sandy beach.

Great Stay

Have just returned from a 4 night stay. Lovely hotel, one of Shearings best. The swimming pool was great, had a daily swim. We had a very comfortable twin room. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.Food great, service brilliant. The hotel is set in lovely grounds with plenty of sitting areas.

Lovely Week

stayed at this hotel for the 2nd time with my 15 year old grand daughter, both had a lovely week. Good food, entertaining evenings, staff really friendly and helpful, room clean and comfortable. Pool was enjoyed by many. Nothing changed since last year which was good. Would stay again, handy for town and beach and buses, trips out good, lovely grounds and gardens to sit in and watch red squirrels. Well done all at the Broadway

Wonderful Time

I have just returned from a five day Shearings tour staying at the Broadway Park Hotel, Sandown. We had a wonderful time. The hotel was lovely, situated in beautiful grounds and we had a fantastic view of the gardens from our room. The staff were all very friendly but the restaurant staff deserve a special mention as their service was second to none and the food was lovely. The pool, although unheated, was brilliant and exeptionally clean. Only disappointment was having no shower in our room.

Saw a badger!

Spent 4 great days at the Broadway Park in August 2009. Staff were excellent very attentive from reception to cleaning staff, the food was of the highest standard, always served with a smile. The area around the swimming pool was a real suntrap, there was a lunchtime snack menu which was adequate. The grounds are beautiful, with nice walks, red squirrels, even lucky enough to see a badger. Will return without hesitation.

Tranquil Gardens

Lovely old hotel set in beautiful tranquil gardens and situated conventiently for Sandown town and transport links for the Isle of Wight. Very modern spacious dining room, a quiet lounge area for just sitting or viewing the grounds. Highly recommended.

Friendly Staff

very nice hotel set in its own grounds.they is a nice park just at the bottom of the drive town and sea front is just a 10 minute stroll away.staff were very friendly and helpful. food top class did not have to wait long to be served. great holiday would stay there again.

Vegetarians Delight!

We spent a few days at this lovely Hotel in a beautiful setting with lovely grounds which boasts red squirrels! The interior of the hotel although a bit tired looking was great in every other way from the attentive staff to the entertainment. Our room was basic but clean and had everything that we could need. The price for what we got was excellent value for money. Special praise should be given to the chef and his staff who catered excellently for our special diet plus we are vegetarian.

Great Service

This hotel the food and service are great, the only downside is the position its a steep hill back to the hotel from the sea front if you are less mobile you could find it difficult

Clean Hotel

I stayed at this hotel week of 21st June 2010. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was good except for the first night, this was probably just me being picky, the rest of the week I enjoyed. The Hotel and rooms are very clean. Our bed was not very comfortable, needed a new mattress. The grounds are pleasant to relax also the pool area. We didnt watch the evening entertainment as it was lovely to walk to the beach. Which has soft sands and very clean. We plan to go back there.
