The Broadway Park Hotel, once the magnificent mansion house of a Victorian entrepreneur, has great character and much architectural interest, making it one of the most popular Sandown hotels. A short pleasant stroll from the seafront, the hotel is set in its own grounds and is one of the most attractively located hotels in Sandown. Dreadful Holiday

Shearings are failing in their duty to warn people of the huge amount of time wasted by the awful feeder system for coaches. We took 12 hours from leaving home in West Yorkshire to arriving in the BP Hotel partly due to a 2.5 hour wait in Normanton I/change. Similar on return. Hotel dull, badly in need of big makeover. Pleasant, helpful staff. Food average. Good 15 minutes walk to beach. Even though weather was brilliant would def NOT recommend this holiday. Did we go to the same hotel as the rest of you?!

Pleasant few days at the Broadway Park Hotel, Sandown Isle of Wight

Just returned from our self drive holiday at the Broadway Park. Pleasant newly refurbished room with French window onto flower filled garden. Extremely helpful and efficient staff, particularly reception, waiting and room manageress Angie. Food varied and filling and some drinkable wine! Only sorry that the only red squirrels we saw were on a postcard we bought in the town!

First Class

Just spent 5 days at the Broadway park hotel the food was 5 star Colin the waiter was very helpful and Paul the driver was first class he new everything about the island we would recommend this hotel to anyone the only drawback was waiting for our feeder coach to take us back to Preston.

Very Good

Excellent hotel, very clean, all staff very friendly and wide choice of menu for the evening meal. We also liked the spacious lounges. Our driver Gary was so friendly and had excellent knowledge of the area which made this holiday so good. The only downside was we were not at all impressed with the UK holiday interchange - think you need a better one than where it is - not enough facilities to get a cuppa for the volume of passengers.

Excellent

Enjoyed a 5 day break at this lovely hotel, faultless, the gardens are beautiful, the staff friendly and nothing to much trouble for them, the food was top class no queuing fast service, the hotel is full of character and history, the trips were so interesting, our driver Jim was excellent We would definitely be making a return journey, and would certainly recommend hotel :-)

First but not last

Just had great time at this hotel food good and plentiful, staff very good praise to our waitress Sarah. Paul was our driver best we have ever had. Shearings deserve the highest praise for employing such excellent staff and putting on such a brilliant holiday. Ps already booked another holiday 11/02/13 this time Scotland.

Great short break

Not sure of the holiday date (we do quite a few) but it was none the less a super holiday. The hotel is in a lovely location and the staff should be awarded medals. Also the food was first class. We enjoyed it so much we are going back again this year. Superb.

First time on the Island

Just had a fantastic 5 day holiday at this hotel. If you're expecting 5 star luxury then you're out of luck. The bedrooms are clean and comfortable - there's an excellent choice on the menu, that's well cooked and served effeciently - good entertainment - but the highest praise goes to Ian our bus driver who showed us and told us everything we needed to know about the island. Thanks once again.

Good Holiday

Second Time Around

Second Time Around. Returned from the Broadway Park Hotel, on the Isle of Wight yesterday. It was our second time this year. We found the Hotel wonderful, as we did with everything else. The staff were extremely helpful and very friendly, and I would like to mention our waitress Sarah. She was very pleasant and professional. But most of all Garry our driver. He was very knowledgeable, witty, and very professional. All in all. A very pleasant Holiday. Thank you everybody at the Broadway Park.

First Coach Holiday

Just come back from the Broad Way Park Hotel Isle-of-Wight had a lovely time, hotel warm, clean, and comfy. Coach organisation very good drivers good and knowledgeable of the area. Food good staff very good I would certainly this hotel and Shearings.

Great Weekend

Just returned from our weekend at Broadway park hotel lovely warm and comfortable rooms and pleasant staff all round the hotel, very efficient waiter called Martin he worked so hard and kept smiling through busy mealtimes. Our driver was also very informative and did a great job. Thank you Shearings for our great weekend.

Brilliant budget break

Just back from a lovely break mon to fri and enjoyed everything about the experience - clean and comfortable, nice food, good staff, driver Jim was funny and informative about the island couldn’t ask for a better driver. Have been all over the world and cruised and flown to many exotic places but enjoyed this break just as much. Well worth every penny spent. Will try to come back in the summer as such a lovely place. Well organised!

Great Break Away

Had a really great time at this hotel. The food was excellent and lots of choice and our waitress was brilliant, couldn't do enough for us. The different lounges meant that we could sit in another area if we didn't want to watch the entertainment and chat to new friends we made. The all inclusive meant we could all enjoy our drinks without working out whose round it was next! Very good value for money. Will try another holiday later in the year. Thank you Shearings.
